I have a verified Mt. Gox account that I have never used.
So using Mt. Gox to buy Bitcoins can they be transfered to a wallet?
I know this is probably a dumb question but I had to ask.
Or could we potentially buy bitcoins at Mt Gox for $130 and hold on to them and wait them out until this passes then cash out when it back to normal?

Yes, but you have to be verified on bitbuilder, or whatever it's called.

Perhaps the fact you can't even get BTC out has caused the low prices.... inquiring minds have to ask themselves this...
