I have a verified Mt. Gox account that I have never used.

So using Mt. Gox to buy Bitcoins can they be transfered to a wallet?

I know this is probably a dumb question but I had to ask.

Or could we potentially buy bitcoins at Mt Gox for $130 and hold on to them and wait them out until this passes then cash out when it back to normal?

Yes, but you have to be verified on bitbuilder, or whatever it's called.

I haven't tried this myself

the funny thing is, GOX used to have higher prices BECAUSE it was so hard to get fiat out, and all the sites quoted their price to fluff up bitcoin and make it look more valuable... now that you can't get fiat out at all, you'd think the coins would be $1200 and everybody would be quoting them! Wink  Perhaps the fact you can't even get BTC out has caused the low prices.... inquiring minds have to ask themselves this...

You can buy at $130, but you never know if you will be able to cash out them...

that is the problem...
