can you walk into best buy and get everything you need to mine approx 2 btc's worth of coins per day?

Sure if you have deep pockets and don't mind losing $1000's in the next 6 months.

You can easily buy video cards at brick and mortar stores that are capable of mining. With an enormous box full of really fancy ones, you might even be able to briefly hit .5 BTC/day. However, you're not likely to ever completely recoup your investment given how rapidly ASICs are getting deployed now. Buying cards for the purpose of mining today is a losing bet and I don't recommend it.

No, but I can easily walk into my Compusa/tigerdirect which is local and pick up enough to mine probably 1 whole coin a day(limited by video cards)...unless they got more in the back somewhere?
