Many thanks yahoo62278 for quoting that figure of around 30 BTC.

Thank you to all who posted estimates here. Anybody posting would have been estimating with no real way of calculating the near-real figure unless lots of data was scraped.

I recently started self-moderated threads primarily because of flooding by those promoting Yobit. You are a respected member of the community and your post here is extremely relevant so thank you for posting that information.

I will lock this thread until/unless anything else of relevance needs to be added or questioned.

I'm going to post here even though you may delete my post due to my signature, but I happen to know the numbers and feel my post is relevant. The current campaign that I am watching over has paid out around 30btc since the end of September to participants.

If you need to delete this post feel free.

If you really want to you can guess an estimate but it's insane work.
You can start from lists like the one published by suchmoon, calculate how many posts each user has made till now (not really a big deal for current as you get number of posts at the beginning of the campaign - current posts), try and do the same for the ones that were banned, this needs a bit more data mining and multiply by the pay rate (it stayed the same) and you have a pretty damn close estimate.
I know about this list, but I think it's not enough to get even estimate numbers. We don't know when exactly they started - there is no number of start post count when they joined campaign. And there is no information how many posts they made until they got banned or left campaign.

How much do you think they have paid out to participants so far?
It is unestimated because we don't have a list of the final active members who participated in the campaign until now and also those who are leaving earlier in the campaign, if we have a spreadsheet of participants then, yes maybe. One thing for sure, there are thousands of dollars have been spent on that campaign a day. A thread was created by suchmoon was outdated, the last update was on November 21, 2019.

When do you think they will stop or pause their campaigns?
When their wallet was emptied.  Cheesy
As I remember before, they didn't pay their participants and leave the forum. Probably they will do it again(but now now I guess).

Apart from the obvious reason of advertising, what other motives would Yobit have for trying their best to entice users to promote them here in this particular forum?
Of course, Bitcointalk has good traffic than other crypto forums. It will give promotions to their site and might probably lure people for their invest box and other promotions.

I think it's impossible to tell even estimate numbers. There just isn't enough public information.

Roughly I would say an average of about 3-2k$/day and probably less right now since a lot got banned and a lot dropped the signature with the whole x10 scam.

Apart from the obvious reason of advertising, what other motives would Yobit have for trying their best to entice users to promote them here in this particular forum?

Since advertising means people learning about your site, investing getting scammed with x10 liza and pony, thus more money int he pocket to lure more "investors", we could say that advertising is the only reason.

If it's overall including their previous campaign before CryptoTalk my rough estimate would be at least a few hundred thousand dollars because their campaign never stopped and has been running for years afaik.

With that said, I don't think their current campaign will stop since their older campaign continued to remain active but many were discouraged in participating due to payments not being sent out for months.

Other motives I could see is like trying to send a message showing they could improve their service and maybe (but most likely not happening) gain back some of the trust they've lost here.

Looking at the way they are working but not knowing the length of time they have been active on the forum I would have estimated around the amount you quoted but I hope somebody with a deeper knowledge of Yobit will be able to provide a figure.

With regards to motives what I referred to were other reasons why Yobit are not holding back on spending money to ensure they get promoted on this forum. They are using any and every opportunity they can get to promote their banners here so they must be happy with the number of new customers signing up and sending their crypto which eventually results in Yobit making money but their users becoming victims.

Limited in number. Limitless in potential.
If we're counting from their very first campaign of yobit to cryptotalk then it will be over hundred thousands can't guess estimated amount of BTC though or even more, though they have smaller reward than other campaigns but I can see it as an average rate with plus with no maximum participants to join their campaigns so...

Ah, they won't stop now, especially they have hired a manager to check the participants posting behaviour which many favors over their past campaigns in which they don't have, as long as their exchange still running and keep selected scamming, their campaign here and on cryptotalk will keep going.

Motives? Clearly, only to keep their services/name sounds good while still doing their shitty behaviour on their exchange.

I think it's impossible to tell even estimate numbers. There just isn't enough public information. There isn't spreadsheet and we don't know how many participants they had and how many posts they have made in total. I think even yahoo don't know these numbers. I remember that in early weeks of campaign, he said how much Yobit paid, but I can't remember these numbers and can't find this post. But total money spend for campaign - it should be huge numbers.
I doubt that they are going to pause or end campsign soon. It's obvious that they have huge budget for it and probably it brings good results for them.
I don't know why they are targeting Bitcointalk forum for advertising. Msybe because of big traffic on this gorum and it's better than to advertise on random crypto websites. But I remember seeing their banners on Coinmarketcap.

They have been paying users to promote their Yobit exchange using various banners and also their Cryptotalk forum in the recent past.

How much do you think they have paid out to participants so far?

When do you think they will stop or pause their campaigns?

Apart from the obvious reason of advertising, what other motives would Yobit have for trying their best to entice users to promote them here in this particular forum?

------
PLEASE NOTE: This thread will be self-moderated because those posting here with Yobit banners displayed will probably have their posts deleted as soon as I see them. Yobit has been outed by too many users as a scam and for that reason if gullible users or newbies see this thread full of posts showing a Yobit signature campaign they might end up falling victim to it. Those displaying Yobit signature campaigns have the rest of the whole of the forum to promote it. Furthermore, if I think posts might have some worthwhile content but were made just for the sake of promoting a banner or flooding the thread with a particular banner, I will probably delete them too.
