so in that case make a encrypted file and put wallet there.

make 10 encrypted files on a USB stick and having a backup of these 10 files on anothers USB stick.
Have 10coins in each, so the maximum you can loose is 10coins instead of 100.

Can you backup a encrypted file or do you need to decrypt it first?

You can have as many as you like. Just don't confused and overwrite one with another.
To create a new wallet just remove your wallet.dat file from it's folder and start the bitcoin client. It will then create a new wallet in the default location.
You can find it as a hidden folder in your home folder under Linux ( /.bitcoin). In windows type %appdata% to find the folder.

I only have two wallets.
Working on getting a site working so I can have an online wallet to make payments over my phone.

I'm thinking about buying a USB JUST for a bitcoin wallet.

Then it will be like:
Windows 7 - No more than 10BTC. Used for forum transactions.
Linux (cold-storage) - No more than 100BTC, used for supplying my Windows 7 daily wallet.
Linux/USB (ICE-Random) - Anything than would get a monthly/daily payment.
Linux/USB (ICE-Frozen) - Majority of my BTC. Will take 100BTC each time from Cold-Storage to be moved here.

May seem like a lot, but it's to keep me safe. Grin

is it possible to have more than one wallet?

I'm thinking if you have all eggs in one basket and decide to make a trade so you decrypt the wallet what if you get unlucky and someone puts a rootkit or just somehoew gets acces to the wallet key and takes all the bitcoins?

If not possible to have more than one wallet I guess one should sell of regulary the coins mined so to not loose too much incase of a attack?
