I've always imagine the future of cryptocurrency to be like those microchips under our skin type scenarios, swiping your wrist to pay for something or making payments by holding the wrists near to each other. Not too sure these ideas excites me though :x

I think the price of bitcoin will be higher and higher in the future, because the mining output of bitcoin will be reduced by half every four years, which will lead to more scarce bitcoin. Investors who are constantly adding new markets will continue to buy bitcoins.
Indeed. Bitcoin gonna rise this year and for incoming years. Bitcoin is the first ever virtual currency in this cryptocurrency world and now currently is leading again and again. Bitcoin is one of the best and trusted. Maybe there are days that it will decrease its value but it never fails to do its job to maintain its great value and it continues to grow despite of those flaws and failures. Bitcoin has a good future soon. It can be possible by continue helping and supporting Bitcoin, in bad times or in good times.

Lets imagine and dream about the future of Bitcoin....Upon entry of Bitcoin or crypto currency into the trading market with Digital transaction, the business community, financial institution reacted differently, after ICO of Bitcoin in the crypto market trading until now, the price value of Bitcoin goes up to the roof, it is the number crypto currency coin in the market today, yet, it was hammered by a lot of issues on Banned, Scammer, and the issue on Regulation by the government institution. and still the Bitcoin remains on the top, with good fundamental, and the growing interest of investors, some possible investor are just waiting for the right timing before they put in or participate into crypto currency trading market investment. i am optimistic that Bitcoin will be with us in the future, the possibility that Bitcoin will be used as currency into market trading is very CLEAR.
It is difficult to say or predict really. But one thing is for sure Bitcoin will still be on top of the market for a long time. as time goes it will face more challenges, Market Dips, Forks and new technology. As it adapts and overcomes this it makes it more valuable and credible. Price wise it it will increase its stability but not to a point that it will stay in the 20k mark. i still consider bitcoin as my primary currency and i am bullish all the way.
On my opinion, I don't think bitcoin's value was corrected. I would say the value of bitcoin is unpredictable which will depends to those users as well as investors that can create a great fluctuations especially the one users have huge amount of bitcoin. Well, to estimate the amount of bitcoin by this year probably it reach to 30k I guess.
Hard to predict the price of bitcoin and yes we can guess it might reach to $30k but if we base now it is hard to go up. Bitcoin for the future I think more development and more users but the fluctuation is still intact in bitcoin. Very unpredictable indeed so hopefully price will go up this coming days.
I think that bitcoin will exotic way for investing. Peoples will not wait profit of it. But it will be cool to give some satoshi to girls birthday, for example.
On my opinion, I don't think bitcoin's value was corrected. do not be too big thinking about the upcoming bitcoin because it can not be in the know and determined we can just stay in position and walk as usual if only imagine in my opinion it will probably be easier to get a coin that will be in the form of paper money.

Or you can edit these words to correct them. As for your inquiry, there is a possibility that Bitcoin will end at $50,000 by end of this year. Quite a big jump from $10,000, but hey, that's why it's called a possibility. In the far future, it was predicted that Bitcoin will be worth a million each. Sounds crazy right? But still a possibility. For Bitcoin to reach that value, it will have to be around for years to come. Satoshi did mention that Bitcoin has an approximated life span of 20 years. Now Bitcoin is almost halfway. So we can still expect some more crazy stuff in the coming decade.

I think the future is fee-less transactions. Lots of other coins have already accomplished this while BTC is still struggling to meet demand for blockchain 1.0. Lightning will keep it from crashing, but not forever.

Just an opinion, I think bitcoin will still be there in the future and would probably increase further perhaps reaching the price of more than 20K USD in the coming years. With this, more and more are more individuals will be interested with bitcoin thus probably increasing the demand of btc which will result for an increase in price value.

I read that at some conference there was an idea to separate bitcoin from the blockchain. I.e. separate these terms among themselves. Leaving bitcoin is only in currency mean. If this is implemented, then the bitcoin price will only grow, the miners will not have much influence. Not my idea. But it's interesting.

I think that bitcoin won't be ruling the game for too long. It's mostly used for speculations and it doesn't have any real appliance now, even after the last forks and upgrades. So I don't see a bright future for BTC, at least now.

with all the development of bitcoin these days it is constantly improving. with all these improvements its adoption will grow more than before and as far as price of it is concerned it will be a lot more than this in long term.
additionally these "improvements" consist of some features which can potentially end a lot of altcoins. for example the fast transactions with no fees will kill lots of altcoins which were advertised as "cheap". the side chains with smart contracts will put an end to or at least take a big chunk of the market out of all these ICO platforms.

If the lightning nework would be implemented to bitcoin there will be a massive adoption from these countries because bitcoin's transaction speed wont be any problem it means that the transaction costs will be much cheaper than today's.If most of the people will use bitcoin as their own currency its price will eventually climb up and no one would ever know how much would it be.

I think that will a lot of positive news about bitcoin and then you can try to use your browser to open search and try to type anything that related to the bitcoin. Just the matter of time until bitcoin becomes mainstream.

1. Bitcoin network will develop, and transactions will be faster, cheaper. Many altcoins&tokens will go into oblivion. This is more true if adds smart contracts.
2. Bitcoin remains technically as is, and it will be replaced by a more perfect coin. Thus, bitcoin will go down in history as the first crypto coin... and game over.

The future of bitcoin is bright. Bitcoin will be the main currency of the world together with Ethereum. Other government will try to suppress it specially corrupt country but eventually they will force to adopt it because powerful countries are already accept that blockchain technology is needed and will improve quality of life and gives better solution in any kinds of transactions.
