yes you can with any coin just be sure that you are not mining from a p2pool because they don't allow this but normal pool are allowed

i mine FTC from p2pool to bittrex directly and didn't see any note that this is now allowed.

I have mined ZEC directly to Bittrex for large parts of many months now.

 Poloniex also worked, but Poloniex has SO MANY MAJOR ISSUES I recommend avoiding them entirely.

Certainly. You can mine many coins directly to an exchange. If you plan to sell them multiple times a week then it's a fine strategy imo. For long term holding or speculating I recommend your own personal wallet.
