Topic: Can you not withdraw from Bitmex if you have an open position? (Read 116 times)
If you still have an open position with the exchange, you cannot withdraw it. It’s like saying, “hey I would like to get out of the line but I would like to have my position there”. Just put your position on close, either in profit or loss.
I know in the accounts tab that you can see your available balance there. Please update if you can withdraw or not.

I'm trying to get the hell out of Bitmex. I have shorted my coins by their usd value so that I won't lose any equity (in $)
Tomorrow I will request a withdrawal.
I had a look at the withdrawal page just now and it says i have 0 xbt available.
I presume this is because I have shorted my coins?
