Glad they are on it.
Now they just have to streamline the actual 'Manual" payment information process. Once you place the order, a Support Ticket is created along with an initial order confirmation email sent. That is when all the amount and wire xfr information is given along with your chance to say you will pay using BTC. In that case, one more round of Support tag to go. So far so good.

The problem is, the Ticket system and emails don't always talk to each other and conversations in the Ticket system are what count. Sometimes replying to the emails is - shall we say delayed. So... best route when the emails come is to:
A) Log into your Canaan act.
B) Then click on the link to the ticket that is in the email.
C) do your replies there.

When using BTC they will give the amount and address to send to. Make the payment and send them tx id and all will be well.

They found the wire. Their bad. I like a company that admits when errors are made and makes it right.

Once I test this machine, I will most likely be making more purchases from them.

Payment by BTC, of course.  Wink

Thanks for everyone's input and opinions. I appreciate it!

Still working on this. The person at Canaan has been responsive.

It appears to be the beneficiary address issue. I used their parent company's address. Which I got from their Facebook page, which was from a link on their website. My mistake was not emailing them or opening a ticket for this address because I could not find it on their website.

My understanding is the money is at their bank, but the bank has yet to deposit the funds. I would think a simple phone call could remedy.

I would be a lot more cautious sending funds without confirmation before hand in the future.

Well that sucks.  seems that  you are the first person to have a real problem with the bank payment.

I insisted on paying with btc .

I suggest if you ever use them again you should pay btc.

@ Canaan      can't you fix this?

I wrote a ton of emails to you about making btc payments available  and you did do it.

Thank you for your responses. I am sure the holiday has caused the day.

However, still waiting for confirmation.

Keep us updated and please summarize your experience when you are able.

I thought I would give the AvalonMiner 721 a try. I wired money over to them last Thursday and they have yet to verify receiving the funds.

Not nervous about getting ripped off, but I would be interested to hear if this delay is standard for this company.

Probably the Chinese holiday is causing delay
Yep, likely the issue. Looks like you picked the worst time to buy a miner- it'll take a few days for things to get back to normal but Canaan certainly did not rip you off. I expect things will slow down but not stop altogether.

You should open a ticket with them to make sure they received your order confirmation along with the associated wire. I have been working with them today and they are still working.
