A lot of artist do really invest in online gambling sites and in cryptocurrency because they are also interested to earn money with it.
They are not just investing for sure they also play online which makes them more profitable. If you have a lot of money then you gamble with it, there's a higher chance to win more but of course losing is also there. Floyd Weather already support cryptocurrency and other artist like Drake will also do that, later on more celebrities will get their own coin for sure.

they are playing because we are talking about gambling on here  .  gambling is mainly being played actively but there are some gambling sites that offers crypto investments   . higher money cant also lead to more winnings but it can also lead to more losses  . the reason why celebs are doing gambling is because they have alot of money and they dont know how to spend it all , this results for them to try risky things such as gambling  .

Drake, together with tech heavyweights Strauss Zelnick and Marissa Mayer, recently invested in the esports betting startup Players’ Lounge. The money invested was worth $3 million!

Full news: DRAKE INKS $3M INVESTMENT DEAL WITH ESPORTS STARTUP PLAYERS’ LOUNGE

As one esports reported said, Drake's influence is too strong that we'll see the world listening to him the moment he brings the esports betting platform to the table.

I'm looking at this as a step toward making esports a part of the gambling industry's mainstream.

What are your thoughts on the ever-growing esports betting community?

For affiliates, do you think there is going to be a bigger earning potential in the esports side of casino affiliate marketing?

We thing $3M as a huge amount because it really is huge but it is not compared into Drake's full assets so its just a spare to him, nothing special about the amount. The main news here is that,he is now exposing esport betting because of his popularity and im sure many people will check what is he talking about.

Its a new avenue for many old enterprises that otherwise might lose track of this demographic.   As I understand it many corporations struggle to grasp the interest of the latest generation of earners and spenders, its a big deal in advertising and products generally to address them.
Its why esports is likely to be a growth area for many years I think, I doubt the betting will be a bad idea for it either.   Obviously people mature and will develop this interest

Quote
Anyway he will have a strong back in the case if he decide to finish his music career. Well, I hope it will not happen, course I love his music very much.

Drake makes music not just as his career but where is placed as a person I think, I doubt he will ever stop.   Professionally he has alot of sucess and alot of money, also he has shown interest in esports previously and appeared on twitch.tv himself.   This is a very natural way for him to diversify which is a big deal for crypto in general, any high growth area will gain alot of interest from across the spectrum of business

I think esports betting still has a lot of potential left to grow in the future because right now it's not that popular, at least in my country most people don't even know that this kind of betting exists. I think in the future young people will be more interested in esports betting than normal sports betting because every teenager spends time playing video games so also betting on that should be interesting and entertaining for them.

Sometimes I was just asking myself when I read about the artist, or other popular people have invested in the gambling or playing gambling. Why they spend their money on something that they know that it will not give them more money. But later, I answer my question that is because maybe they have a lot of money, they are bored, and they need to spend some amount of money, and they choose to play gambling or invest in gambling.

But I am sure that in the future, there will be many more artists that will invest in cryptocurrency and it's not just invested in esports betting.

It's true that a lot of famous music artist and other celebrities who started to invest their money in esports betting and also in cryptocurrency. What do you think the reason why people starts to invest their money to it?
In my own opinion, there are now a lot of celebrities and music artist who really started to invest their money in esports betting and in cryptocurrency because they are also interested to earn more money from it, and also they see that in the future they can use those investments. Investing in online gambling sites are really worth it because there are now a lot of gamblers who starts to play in online .

I see that drake is also a gamer and i think that is the reason why he loves to bet on esports because afaik esports is a gaming community with big prize pools .  the reward for this kind of gambling is also expected to be huge than other normal gambling games  .  other popular artist do also invest on cryptos and its obvious that they want  to earn more money aside from their own salary as a celebrity   .

Drake's influence is too strong?Really? And why it is "too strong"?Because he is famous? That doesn't mean anything.Famous artists or athletes can make stupid business decisions with their hard earned money.
I wish good luck to the Player's Lounge dev team.I'm not a big esports betting fan,but let's see what will happen.

Remember when Drake played Fortnite and the word of it spread across social media? Fortnite had bigger following and player population, breaking Twitch's record.

of course eposrts has a brighter future especially now that there are people invested huge in it. Of course no one will invest without putting it to study and after having a lot of considerations. After all are already in digital era so esports can go hype. There are many people now involving esports which can make economic growth from talent to employment. If you will go to search in youtube there are many video related to.esports that includes huge events and huge money pool of betting though some of it are doing discretely so as to avoid any violations with the law.

But still I am contented with online casino. I do like betting during free my free time and no need for me to go to a casino for I can play games online in an online betting casino platform.

Compare rates on different exchanges & swap.
I guess this will work out for him. Esports betting is quite popular around the world. It is probably the most played (especially sport) gambling game where I live

@leea-1334 is talking about how esports are so big in his country that even the newspapers are talking about esports players as if they were as famous as football players.
Misunderstood what he/she said. Sorry for that @leea-1334. It's good to see that many sports are rising now. We do have a lot of sports that exist but there are still a lot of sports to rise. I can say that sports is healthy in our world since it is developing still. And this is why gambling sites will never bankrupt. They have variety of sports to pick on  Wink

I think shaquille o'neal has done the same thing investing in a team of his own in overwatch called nrg. This was several years ago so I dont know how successful they are now.

Celebrities are now beginning to have a voice with investing in crypto business. I think Manny pacquo also was in the news sometime ago about a coin. This is good for celebrities to start investing both on gambling or casino.
You mean PAC Coin? Yes, celebrities are gradually jumping into crypto but i doubt that most of them doesnt even know the true essence or benefits on it, maybe they are just being dragged out with the hype.
Talking on the topic, this is really a good news to have which knowing Drake do invest out on esports betting but it doesnt mean that this will also affect affiliation.

The e-sports market is so big and will be growing year by year. there are so many countries where e-sports is still a small niche. smart decision which drake has made. im sure gambling on esports will also grow rapidly in the next years.
Celebreties also love to gamble and espors is a good place for them so they can still hide their identity in the public. Yes there are still some places who still prefer to play on a traditional way which is going to casinos. Drake is already have the money, he just need to be more wise on handling the money.

Didn't Drake played with Ninja (famous streamer) in Fortnite on twitch a while ago? I don't know much about Drake but it looks like the guy, aside from being a music artist, is also a hardcore gamer if he's willing to invest in a a couple of esports company. And I didn't know 'Player's Lounge' accepted Bitcoin for deposits/withdrawals, props for that.

I think esports is already a big thing,,, in my country you can find TV ads, and the newspapers are talking about our players like they are football players;)
eSports are kind of sports game but they are played using video games. Video games such as these games:
  • DOTA 2
  • CS:GO
  • League of Legends
  • Fortnite
  • Heroes of Newerth
  • PUBG

Then, what is the relation of football players in eSports?

Someone rich invested in something? WOW STOP THE PRESS

Maybe they lose money, maybe they make money. Someone investing in something isn't news though...

Betting red or black on roulette is way better odds than investing in gambling site startups.

Shaq is an owner of esports team for a few years now and they are not bad in the matches for csgo I've seen.   Also there is a couple teams owned by mainstream football clubs, again not a new thing exactly.   Reason why is the numbers support the interest, esports grew alot and its attractive to a specific demographic in advertising that cannot as easily target this age group any other way.

So its a definite ongoing popular sector of competition and audience figures I think with repeated support by major advertisers

It is good too see both the startup world getting even bigger, I know the startup world has been on the rise for years now but I feel like rich people (angel investors and people like Ashton Kutcher and drake) giving a bit to the people who want to build something is eliminating the horrible banking requirements (this way nobody needs to take money from banks as a loan and than have to repay, you just give a part of your company without really having any debt at all so you as owner may not earn as much but the company rises) and what this also puts on top of it is the esports betting.

We have been aware for the fact that esports have been on the rise but it has been on the rise for the people who know whats what but ask any elderly 70 year old guy and he has no idea how big it is because mainstream doesn't really share it, you can watch NFL from 150+ countries on tv but when it comes to esports finals in any game there is barevely any TV coverage and its mostly twitch. These type of investments into esports will only make it bigger.

This will just give the players' lounge a boost. And I agree, it's just business. Just like what did the GCOX did, they say that there were many celebrities invested in their project, including Manny Pacquiao. Look at what they brought now, they don't have an exchange. But, they have a fake OTC.

I think esports is already a big thing,,, in my country you can find TV ads, and the newspapers are talking about our players like they are football players;)

And you know, things will get even bigger for esports. But will I bet on them? No, not really. I do not trust these guys to not cheat or throw away the games if they were paid a lot of money, or worse, if they were threatened by the mafia. I would definitely throw my game if I were threatened to have my family harmed. Did anyone ever think of that in esports I wonder?

Esports is a lot easier to fix than football, basketball, and other mainstream sports.  Video games are growing in popularity but they still pair in comparison to real sports.  I'm with you, I would never bet on an esports match.
Besides not making a bet in esports, I think it's better to make a bet in sports betting because we have a chance to win the game. But maybe if we are familiar with the game in the esports, we can place bets like what we did in sports betting.
And hey, I read that some games can be cheated if we know how the key so we can win the game with easy, but I don't think it will easy to find the key because it spread by privately. But I am not sure about that.

The esports betting needs huge investment, but this assures the profit on the investment. Understanding the same more high profile people from different industries were investing into esports sector. With cryptocurrency into usage the gambling industry has shown a big progress. Canada being a crypto friendly country this adds more support to the growth of the startup.

Drake has definitely seen the future and I am glad he did.
Esports has already started to be a big thing with many money been spent in events and tournaments for esports.
The amount that he has invested is not big for him. He has millions in his pocket and he is not going to suffer any losses in the end.

Anything is possible to happen even on just typical physical sports these fixed games are plausible and so as with esports. No matter which side you would tend to
bet theres always the risk for games to be rigged nor planned.

For affiliates, do you think there is going to be a bigger earning potential in the esports side of casino affiliate marketing?
Possible but affiliate market would be hard just like as usual with other similar referral system because sudden increase of demand doesnt mean that you would
succeed into this line.
