No not 24 hours that will never end.  The anti snipe rule is good i think for tops 15 minutes.  Its human nature to wait to the last minute in hopes no one else is watching and you get a good deal.  Coin like this will get a proper price.  In the future i recommend just a wts and list the price.  Bad form to pull an auction in play just because of where the price is at.  Will make people not bid on your future auctions because they wont want to waste their time.

Thanks for the honest feedback. As you suggested, in the future I will list it as WTS instead of an auction. Sorry for the confusion everyone. I'm very new to all of this so thanks for your understanding.

You are taking this wrong.... they were not going to "snipe" because of the rule you have in place..... they were just going to bid late to try and obtain a good without showing too much interest ahead of time.  You should not have canceled this auction merely because you thought you wouldn't get enough for it.  Auction = Risk.  In my opinion.... this thread = FAIL

I agree with your opinion, this thread is a fail. I was a lurker for a long time before posting and still didn't understand the rules of a proper auction, so I hope this may serve as a lesson on what not to do for any future sellers. Thanks.

And like you mentioned earlier...you should of started at a price you were willing to accept selling at.

If you start at 0.0BTC then you have to take the chance of what the auction will bring.

I added this to my current auction

SNIPE: Any bid made in last 10 minutes will extend the auction 10 minutes beyond end time OR last bid until no new bids are made.

I wish I would have known that you all were interested in the coin, unfortunately I didn't see that much action yesterday and the bid price was much lower than I expected. This is my fault, as I should have raised the starting bid to something I was willing to part with, but this was my first auction and I made a mistake.

I do apologize for letting anyone down, but I also thought there was an anti-sniping rule so I'm kind of surprised by the reaction.

That isn't cool at all dude,  you sound like another member here who has a great reputation for changing terms on auctions!

Lol...yes a very famous one. Tman is right..not cool at all

I'm really sorry to disappoint you. I'm not trying to gain a bad reputation here. I thought that by putting an "anti-sniping" rule it would prevent the auction from happening last minute, but I was wrong. In the future, would it be better to set the anti-sniping terms to 24 hrs? Again, I'm sorry as this was my mistake.

Another loaded coin bites the dust. Cry

.006btc - wheelz1200

I redeemed this coin before I knew how few of these were actually funded.. It hurts a bit but hindsight and all that.

@ what value would you predict this item ?

Not sure how to answer that which is kind of why I put it up for auction. I believe the last Nolacoin that I saw sold here was around January of this year but there hasn't been many of these floating around unless there are other places to sell physical coins that I'm not aware of.

This auction is for a 0.5 BTC Nolacoin that has already been redeemed. It's #025/999.
I kept it in a plastic case until I redeemed the coin a few months ago but it's still in great condition.
The coin originally came with a hologram sticker covering the QR code and private keys but it has since been removed.
I've swept the coin for BCH but any other coins are probably still on there.
