I did a "taint analysis" on a BTC address (via blockchain.info) which I use to withdraw small amounts from small exchanges (when I mine a random altcoin for a few hours or days and sell them all asap whenever they trade it) and this address show up with 12.39% taint.

Thank you for the invitation gentlemen.

Without having to dive into the code, I saw the potential of Bitcoin years ago.

1000 years ago a person could do everything for themselves. Today, we have specialists. You cannot know everything about everything in a lifetime. Yes, you can learn anything that you want about anything specific so long as someone shared it on the net - intentionally or otherwise. Remember that nearly everything you do, requires the help of someone else. I think for some of you its understood. I will wait patiently for the outcome that I am vested.

In the end, it all boils down to trust.

Enjoy the ride! :-)

A lot of people were talking about this address starting from the 25th february if you look in google.
Apparently it sparked some interest but everyone forgot about this address, now that coins are still moving maybe we should wonder about the origin of these coins.
Looking back at the addresses, most of them go to an adress called "Bitstamp audit".

This is interesting because this address is currently moving thousands of bitcoins.
Also it is called "Stolen coins from mtgox", who did this?

How does one label an address on Blockchain.info? Can anyone do it?

Why are there no Blockchain sleuths talking about this on the forum (with the exception of one mention in Italian).

880k Bitcoin address:
https://blockchain.info/address/1Drt3c8pSdrkyjuBiwVcSSixZwQtMZ3Tew

Someone pinned it as "Stolen coins from mtgox" and a hyperlink to this URL:

http://canibuildasitehandlingotherpeoplesmoney.com/b.html

Which asks the question. Then provides and answer:

This is right after a day after Bitcoin hit $100 on MtGox and two days before Mark Karpeles resigned from the Bitcoin Foundation.
