Cannabis coin had a buzz in the past but now it's losing it's community, it's price and it's miners.
It had an objective to become the preffered coin for cannabis trade but it seems like people feels it easier to trade it with fiat or popular crypto rather than an unkown crypto with the name cannabis.

Being delist on Bittrex will make Cannabis plummet like Safex Token before. After delist, it decreases continuously and continuously, but it is not listed on other exchange, making the liquidity very low

Well I don't know cannabis coin that much but if they will transfer then I guess they should take into consideration an exchange platform which will do that at a low fee at the same time be fast. With that I think cannabis will move up.

I don't know cannabis coin still exist because they were hyped when they first came, it's better for you to sell some of it off if you are still able to gain from it than lose it all later because coin moving from one blockchain to another may fail later.

I have been mining Cannabiscoin lately. The coin has been around for 4 years or so, but they are being delisted because they found vulnerabilities in the blockchain .

They are working on integrating to a better platform .  They are considering Komodo or Waves platform .   Does this process take a long time ?

For some reason , the price of the coin has been rising .  I thought it would keep dropping because its being desisted.  Any thoughts ?

I think it'd be better to sell the coin and wait and see the price movements. Cannabis coin was quite popular as one of the first coin for cannabis industry but they were not able to maintain the hype. And the so called shift could be just a news to keep miners occupied and could take years before coming true. You could just sell it and watch the progress and buy again in favourable time.

" Yeah, integration to a new blockchain takes time, it's not something that can be done within a little time, it must be well interrogated on a good blockchain to avoid another future vulnerability issue. "

Is it something that takes days , weeks or months ?    How will it affect the future for mining the coin ?    They mentioned something about a "coin swap " .  Not sure exactly how that works.

Well , it seems they are motivated to get the project back online.   Its been around for a while and seems to do well on the X11 algo.  Possibly the most profitable for mining at 28 satochis and above. Before they announced the security vulnerability issue , it traded at 100 satochi.   The all time high during the boom was $0.60.   It seems like they were trying to establish it as a currency to use at some of the medical marijuana dispensaries .

Hats off to the team for not just ignoring the Vulnerability and allowing it to be attacked.  I bought $200 in coin as a gamble and mined another $100,  it seems the whole Cannabis thing is growing more popular.

It depends on the capacity of their devs, if they have enough devs to work on the upgrade, then it shouldn't be something that would take a long time to set up but if their is just one developer in charge of development of their project, then it should take a longer time to get this done, I am saying this based on my experience as a developer too, so you have no choice than to wait for the upgrade to be launched and see what next comes to them, whether they will be listed back on those exchanges or they will be delisted.

I don't know much about Cannabis but if they are going to transfer, they should consider Ethereum smart contract, very low fee faster transaction a lot of Dapps associated with it, Waves is good but people are having a hard time with their DEX sometimes it lags.

Integrating to a better platform actually depends on their developer and on how they are communicating with the said platform.

I seriously hope they will not choose waves platform. I don't have anything bad experience with waves but I guess there's no future in that platform. In my opinion, eth has more chance of pulling it thru. But it all depends on the priorities of the dev team. Since they have been in crypto for so long, they should know what's best for them.
I'm not into waves but I also see the movement for their platform became slower these times. ETH is still popular as now but I think Komodo is a good one but if they will also consider Binance chain, I think they'll get more attention.

use waves I don't think it's the right choice and if they keep migrating there, canabis will become a dead coin, for Komodo I'm not sure this is a good platform but I once followed ico who used it and the results were unsatisfactory, maybe using platforms like eth, stellar, and eos is the best choice
