You should have seen that option that lets you change that. Anything that is greater than 42 px (for members) I think will be deleted or cropped? Idk but I think it's like that Cheesy

at the botton there should be the signature box. If there is no box, print screen and show us what is there.

Signatures are displayed at the bottom of each post or personal message. BBC code and smileys may be used in your signature. Signatures taller than 42px will be cut off.

I think you click on a link called "Forum Profile Information" under "Modify Profile" on the left side of your screen when you're looking at your profile.
