I tried for already three times to send 0.5 BTC  from my electrum wallet but I get this error message:

error: The transaction was rejected by network rules.(256:absurdly-high-fee)

But fee that electrum automatically charges me is just 0.187mBTC  ( that I think it's an average one)

Anyone knows what's going on here?  Undecided

are you sure that Electrum default Base Unit is in mBTC and not something else. because absurdly-high-fee may be because you are entering 0.187BTC instead of mBTC so check your
tools > preference > Appearance > base unit
to be set to the appropriate unit.

I bet thats the right answer

You lost your bet then  Wink

Yeah default unit (or at least unit my wallet always used) is mBTC; therefore the fee that it was charging me was the default 0.187mBTC (that I think is calculated on the size in KB of the transaction but not sure about it).

Anyway I closed and opened the wallet some times and the last one transaction was succesful with a fee of exactly 0.187mBTC.

Still don't get what happened  Undecided
