I'm not familiar with the app and I can't test it either as I don't have any ios device. Although I found the app in appstore and luckily they provided some essential details.

I can't access the site and i feel suspicious here but do you have any bitcoin address from this wallet can you share with us including the old bitcoin address and recent bitcoin address..
Let me check if why you can't spend your bitcoin..
Do you have any private key save with that wallet? if not try to open your my wallet> and choose keys tab and your public and private key is there
It should be the same from the image here the 3rd part http://www.sollico.com/images/bitWallet_Screenshot.png
And then you can recover your private key in other wallet and try to spend it and maybe that wallet is having some bugs since i can't access the site you given..

Hello,

I wanted some help in determining an unexpected address generation.

I have been using a smartphone wallet on iPhone (bitwallet http://www.sollico.com/bitwallet/) and have made past transactions on it.

The most recent tx had been to the address on an exchange.

However, it sent the rest of BTC to a new address on same wallet which asks for a private key - I just have the private key for my old original address.

After talking to support they say the private key should be on there but I don't think they fully understand what I am trying to say. The new random address that was generated has the default name "My Bitcoin Address" with no private key.

How do I spend the BTC from this new address?
