Hi Guys, that was great advice but I am stuck.... My IP = 156.34.90.95
I can get to stage 2, where I can get into the interface, I change my IP in the interface to 156.34.90.94... But I can't access the cube with the new ip 156.34.90.94:8000
Here are my stats just incase its a subnet problem...
156.34.90.95
Subnet Mask: 255.255.252.0
Default Gateway: 156.34.88.1
Can you please help me, I have been trying this for 3 days and getting nowhere.

I concur with the advice to ensure cooler air is flushed through the fan. I have several cubes and at room temperature they were operating at around 35 G/H each while overclocked... but would reboot every few hours into normal clocked mode.
With cold air (around 30-40 degrees) they are all operating at a consistent 38 G/H while overclocked without auto rebooting. It makes a big difference. Pray for more polar vortex weather.

Be sure to add some extra cooling measures. By simply having a house fan sit behind your cube with improve its efficiency greatly not to mention most likely extending its service life indefinitely.
Mine has been running for about 3 weeks straight with the stock cooling and getting 38+ pretty steady...

1. First you have to change the IP settings of your computer to manual.
Your router leases 192.168.0.x to ypur pc by dhcp (automatically).
But the cube has 192.168.1.254
So you need to change the IP address of your pc to 192.168.1.x (x = something between 1 and 253).
2. After changing the ip of your PC, you should be able to connect to the webinterface of the cube. Once you got connected, change the IP of the cube to 192.168.0.x (x = something between 2 and 254)
3. Then change the IP of your PC from manual back to automatically (DHCP). You should now be able to connect to the cube by his new IP Address you set in step 2.

Hi everyone! I'm not a total newbie to mining bitcoin but I'm still a beginner, and probably out of my depth here. I previously set up four USB strips of 9 Sapphire Miners each and have had those running flawlessly at ~12GH/s for the past two months. However, I decided to pick up a 30-38GH/s block erupter cube from JonesGear recently and can't for the life of me figure out how to get it connected.
My physical setup seems fine; all lights are on and the fan is running. I'm using a USB to Ethernet adapter to connect directly to my PC, but when I try the 192.168.1.254:8000 address it always times out. I tried connecting to a different PC, as well as directly to the router with the same result. Firewalls are temporarily disabled on both computers and the router itself.
My router's IP defaults to 192.168.0.1 but I figured I could change the cube's address to a 192.168.0.x if I connected to my PC first, but as I said I can't connect to get into the configuration settings at all.
Any advice?
