Members, my miner is up running and producing BTC.
@versatile, you are awesome. Thank you for taking the time helping me solve the problem.

The person I bought from never respond and replied my email inquiry. On top of that the miner he sold to us was used!
I wouldn't buy anything associated with this email [email protected].

My miner cannot be detected in my local network. I assumed my miner has static ip 192.168.1.118 ( because the sticker on the miner said 118)
So, I did search and it seemed like I am in a different subnet network, because my network is running at 192.168.0.x

I did the "ipconfig" ipv4 procedure step as follow:
- disconnect all the ethernet and wireless conn.
- connect miner to mac
- go to ethernet (the ip shown is 0.0.0.0)
- configure ethernet manually by entering:
   ip address: 192.168.0.118
   subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
   gateway/router: 192.168.0.1
- and I saw the ethernet is now 192.168.0.118
Then, I disconnect miner from mac.
Connect miner to router and mac to router. I saw 192.168.0.118 is now my mac. but I cannot find my my miner.

What is the ipv4 steps for? I thought it would assign my miner to my network subnet. Apparently, it doesn't seem to be that way. What did I do wrong?

PS: I bought 3rd party machine from www.lketc.com, if anyone familiar with their machine please help.
