I noticed on the bitcoin.org page it says the software can't be downloaded in the UK? Any idea why?
You can use DNS change in chrome browser to access internet as global user, you can use google default DNS or other DNS. Based on my experience, I feel free to surf the internet for any access, it might also be useful for you to access anything on bitcoin.org.

The alternative is to access https://craigwrightisnotsatoshi.com/, you can download the bitcoin whitepaper but the software archive link has not been updated since the web was created, you can ask someone else to archive the link from bitcoin.org to download the latest software version. CMIIW

On a side note, Craig Wright won the lawsuit, not because he proved his claim. He won the lawsuit because Cøbra didn't want to reveal his/her identity and didn't appear in the court.

That's a very lame loophole. Now he will abuse it to the end.

If Cobra shows up, he will lose his anonymity and who knows what will happen to him. If he doesn't show up, Craig will have what he wants. Now I understand why Cobra wanted to get away from crypto but he can't even do that anymore.

Thanks. Good to know why. Missed that

That's probably due to UK court order.

Craig Wright claimed that he is the creator of bitcoin and owns copyright to Bitcoin white paper. He filed a lawsuit against Cøbra (Bitcoin.org domain administrator) and won that. UK court ordered Cøbra to remove the bitcoin whitepaper from bitcoin.org.
Most probably, bitcoin core isn't available for download in UK for the same reason.

On a side note, Craig Wright won the lawsuit, not because he proved his claim. He won the lawsuit because Cøbra didn't want to reveal his/her identity and didn't appear in the court. We all know that Craig Wright isn't Satoshi.

Not probably, but definitely. Here's relevant discussion https://github.com/bitcoin-dot-org/Bitcoin.org/issues/3698.

You can just download it from the official website anyway: https://bitcoincore.org/en/download/ (it's displayed at the top of forum pages)

And if you use linux, there are alternative to download Bitcoin Core from Snap, Flatpak (it's unofficial, so DYOR) or your linux distro repository.

I don't think anyone really cares enough for it to be a problem. If you want to use bitcoin.org then you can either use it as an opportunity to experiment with tor or you can download a browser that comes with a free vpn (opera used to and probably still does).
