The BQC client is old and the developer abandoned it. What you're seeing is the client trying to connect to the developer's blog and failing because it no longer accepts the connection.

Open your .conf file and use the "addnode=" line per IP address:

I've just compiled and trying to use bbqcoind and in the log files, it appears to only be trying to connect to two peers that both appear to be down.  Is there something I can do to fix this?

trying connection 192.95.27.104:19323 lastseen=114.7hrs
connect() failed after select(): Connection refused
trying connection [2607:5300:60:2b68:dead:beef:feed:ad]:19323 lastseen=110.8hrs
connect() failed: 101
