You will have to force the path manually in that dialog instead of relying on the auto detection.

Try going to File > Settings and unchecking the box for "Let armory run Bitcoin Core in the background". Then stop Armory, start Bitcoin Core, and then start Armory again.

It found the installation once and said it was running and had to be closed. Now it says can't find it and everything's frozen
