After about four hours of changing windows 7 to 8 and back I took this rig out of service. Brought it to work space and hooked up the same hard drive with windows 8, a 7870 and

it worked fine, loaded cgminer and started mining just like its supposed to. I didn't try two gpu's so maybe the second x-16 slot is bad. Don't know don't care now.

I'll just get another msi 970 g46 board, use this foxconn board for something else. Just think of all the fun I had!!

Sorry, the error I get is APPCRASH on a rig with 5850 in the top pci-e slot, 5870 in the next x-16 slot and5870 on a riser in pcix1.

What happened was I was gonna switch to litecoin, shut down cgminer and started msi afterburner. I must have had settings to high on the 5850 because the screen artifact and locked up...hence the power off shut down. I removed the 5850 and tried one 5870. Still comes up with the microsoft error and shuts down cgminer.

Still cant figure whats up

I'm truly at my wits end. I had a crash on one of my rigs and had to do a power off shut down, after restart cgminer 2.11.3 would not start. Long story short I had to do a comeplete re-instal of windows 7 pro. Now when I start cgminer, add all my info, and start it I get APPDATA error. It's like windows does'nt like cgminer anymore.
I've run registry cleaners, allow through firewall crap, I just dont get it. I've got 6 other rigs running the same o.s. and cgminer no problem. Tried 2 different drives also, did the same thing. Help.........please?
