No #xnsub should work with degraded hashrate. You just cannot switch coins fast enough without this, it is what it is.
The 'switching' speed requirement of #xnsub is FUD.

It isn't, but you don't touch multicoin pools, so how would you know? You'll get a sawtooth pattern without it, it seems you have no idea how often those pool switch coins...

I have switched to another pool....  It has just been one of those things pestering me.  I appreciate the help trying to figure it out.

So if an ASIC miner isn't listed on their drop down that means it is not supported?

That is what I think because they are asking people on Reddit to test their server and post what model unit works on their server.
They also have an old list of supported miners on their Reddit but it's outdated and I don't see your unit there.

Why not switch to another pool instead if you want to run them together on a single pool?
ViaBTC would be a good option.

Would you mind sharing the URL that you said about this "sha-256 servers vs. the asicboost"

The normal NH pool server should this list below
Code:
stratum+tcp://sha256.usa-west.nicehash.com:3334
stratum+tcp://sha256.usa-east.nicehash.com:3334
stratum+tcp://sha256.eu-north.nicehash.com:3334
stratum+tcp://sha256.eu-west.nicehash.com:3334

For ASICboost

Code:
stratum+tcp://sha256asicboost.usa-west.nicehash.com:3368
stratum+tcp://sha256asicboost.usa-east.nicehash.com:3368
stratum+tcp://sha256asicboost.eu-north.nicehash.com:3368
stratum+tcp://sha256asicboost.eu-west.nicehash.com:3368

or Port: 80

Did you test all of the NH normal pools?

It's seems they don't support Avalon 1126s if you look at it on their calculator it's not listed there it means they still didn't support this unit.

These are the servers I was trying - I did not try any EU servers just USA.  On my 1047s I did choose that model from the drop down and for the 1126 I chose 'other'.

So if an ASIC miner isn't listed on their drop down that means it is not supported?

Code:
stratum+tcp://sha256.usa-east.nicehash.com:3334
stratum+tcp://sha256.usa-west.nicehash.com:3334
stratum+tcp://sha256asicboost.usa-west.nicehash.com:3368
stratum+tcp://sha256asicboost.usa-east.nicehash.com:3368

Again, this is probably all trivial as I am not using NH for my ASICs only for my GPUs and L3 but it's just one of those things....

Craphash takes an extra 2-3% on top of the 3% they charge everyone, and thus any ridiculous belief that handling a work change faster requires hiding what it is doing, and allowing it to mine anything and everything and avoiding the coinbase security requirement of cgminer, is false.

If you properly monitor the work you get when you order hash rate on Craphash you will not get 3% less than you pay for, it will be between 5% and 6% less.

The new miners don't work without asicboost

Canaan added asicboost with the 10xx series if i recall correctly.

Lincoin is wrong - from the A10's on up all have ASIC boost so that can't be the problem. My guess is that NH may be wanting to use #xnsub which I don't think the Avalon's support and rightly so - that bit of code lets the pool run whatever other subroutines they feel like without you knowing about it and as such is a security risk.

I know NH probably isn't the best ASIC pool but I'd still like to know what's going on.  I currently have 9 ASIC miners, 1-S17 pro, 3x Avalon 1047, 3x Avalon 1126s, 2x L3+.  I cannot get the Avalons to mine on NH.  They either will not hash at all or get tons of rejected shares.  The S-17 and L3s works great.  My Avalons will hash perfect on other pools that I've tried (slush, luxor, ant, lincoin).

I did have an issue on Lincoin.io and was told by tech support that Avalons do not support asicboost and was given a different port to use on their servers which took care of the issue.  So with that knowledge I tried to use the regular sha-256 servers vs. the asicboost on NH and still a no go.

I have opened up a support ticket with NH but haven't heard anything back in over a week.

Ideas?

EDIT:  Didn't know whether to put this in the hardware sub or pool sub since I don't know whether it's a hardware issue or not.  Mod(s) please move if needed.
