Majority of these newbies are consumed by their thirst for money to quickly solve their urgent need forgetting that cryptocurrency is not a get rich quick scheme like all these Ponzi that we have out there. To really make good wealth in this crypto, there is need to really acquire a deep knowledge about the crypto space which will help us in gathering all the strategies that we will need to deal with the market and make the best out of it.

When I was first introduced to cryptocurrency, I took my time to fully study the environment, learnt the pros and cons  before joining, and by the time I joined, even the actions of whales was no longer new to me, so knowledge is really power here.

It does not matter whether it is crypto or non crypto,,, if people are not ready to take responsibility for their own money and the decisions surrounding their financial freedom, then they have made that mistake in the beginning. Knowledge is power, people keep saying this but they do not understand it. Knowledge and the wisdom to know that no matter how much you know, you may still be unlucky and get bad timing, that is the wisdom that so few people have, especially so for crypto.

Our life is the platform for learning. So we should not stop learning. In cryptocurrency world, we must learn from our mistakes and move ahead. As just like the life is two parts of a coin having good and bad, crypto world has also good and bad aspects. So do not get worried about losses you may suffer. At the end of the day, you may get profits as well from the market. Keep patience, have crypto knowledge and trade smartly.

We will gain knowledge by experience. Always learning in crypto market can improve our knowledge and i am believe with knowledge and experience, we can make profits consistently

This is one of the reasons that its a must for newbies to learn the basics first before rushing to make profits ,knowledge is the only tool to progress in crypto sphere ,when you rush things out you will only find yourself where you began and with no knowledge at all,have the zeal of wanting to know more this is the only way

I hope someone trying to outrun his shadow can see this post, retrace his steps, analyse his motive and learn from it before some hands get burnt. There is nothing as dangerous as having a wrong motive towards a business. It blinds the eyes to see the damage lurking around. Most newbies including my one time self always have that crypto is a get rich quickly impression until the market will humble and nearly rekt one.

Been there, done that. As a newbie before, whenever there was a hype, I tend to get excited and buy some coins believing in a wrong way that the hype means it is a potentially coin that is worth to invest. Our mistakes, our errors and our wrong way of reliance makes us a good and passionate crypto trader.
We misinterpret many things but we are reliable to make things right.
A simple reminder to every newbie and also for the other member. "You learn, You succeed."

Very true man. Theres really no shortcut to success but strive hard thats why I just do crypto investment for past time or sideline since I do have a job. Crypto investment also is not recommended as a sole job or work alone and never rely on it all the time for your source of income.

The simplest and probably the most effective strategy would be to ignore most of the alternative assets where some argue there is more profits to be made but many find the risk factors too difficult to manage and just invest in Bitcoin itself and optionally a few top ranked alternatives and wait patiently for the next wave of adoption to arrive which is likely to increase the value your portfolio provided you've chosen good quality assets that have long term viability

I would like to add (this is also what I learned throughout my journey)
5. You will and must be ready to lose. likely when you want to invest on a certian altcoin you must invest a amount of money that you are to lose. Why? because some get too furstrated the invest to much to a sure double momey back but in the end it a bye bye it will rather be no money back or waste of time you invested money returned to you with no increase value.

I think you first need to figure out who you want to be in the world of cryptocurrency. For example, a developer or a trader. This is very different from each other.

Am sure those who are new to the game are listening, this is very important for them not to take the wrong decision in this trustless space. Even with this new IEO concept, one can still be a victim of scam, so it's very important for one to be extremely careful before taking any decisions.

Yes, you have expressed the right thoughts. Success is achieved by those who are looking for and trying something new. The most important thing is never to stop. In crypto there are really many areas in which you can try yourself.

What is killing the space is greed, I have not seen these level of magnitude of greed operating in this space before now, I was just imagining that what Satoshi was blaming the wall street and government for is eating deep into the space he created, this just show that human nature can't be changed

It is very dangerous to try to run faster than show,and i know many have done that and now they are regretting doing that,we need to learn what it takes to succeed anywhere we are not trying to look for easy way out.

May I ask how long have you been in crypto?
How many projects are you promoting in your social media right now? Are you sure they are all legit?

The most important requirement in the crypto currency space is knowledge
We all have to learn

But learning approach for each individual is different

Some learn by following the right process
Some learn after promoting fake projects for months without reward
Some learn after making a wrong investment
Some learn after repeating the mistakes again again and again

One important way is focus; with knowledge and focus; trading and bounty hunting skills will develop at a massive rate

Thank you for the motivation. Many people have succeeded in the crypto world because of their knowledge of the blockchain or about the crypto work system. However, there are also many people who succeed because they are lucky in the crypto world. For example.  You might not think that pizza that was bought with 10k BTC became the most expensive pizza in history.

I agree. Learning is earning in the crypto sphere. You should have the know everything that is happening. It's not just all about the profits and money it's actually learning to able to know how to get advantage of the technology itself. So that you will not get into the wrong path where you will be joining pump signals which is most newbies mistake.

Op has made a thread that shows he understands this business, this is a very mature advise for learners and old guys on it who are still having issues with making money on trade .

But I think that rather than learning from the mistake of other people, is better to learn directly from your own and personal mistake(s) because, in trading, what matters and who matters is you and you alone.

Everyone will make mistakes, even the professional legendary members get scammed because the quality of the scams are increasing. For safety, newbies should just stick to the top 20 coins on coinmarketcap, that way you won't get scammed

It is very true that because of hype some people got involve in crypto without any knowledge on how it really works and in the end they regret that they learn crypto after they had lost a huge amount of money, which is their own fault because they did not study first or at least get some basic knowledge about crypto. There are endless opportunities in crypto and your success depends on you. How much learning time you are willing to invest into this journey. I think that crypto is still different from many other sphere. This is because everyone can achieve a lot if he has the patience to work and wait. I think today there are not too many investors that comes to cryptocurrency market and risk what they got. After the big crush in 2018 everyone scared about the bitcoin and altcoins, that would help newbies to don't lost everything. Every new day we need to learn more, search more, that's how we can avoid ourselves from the looses.

You are absolutely right, I agree with you. Knowledge gives a huge number of opportunities in crypto. The ability to use knowledge determines how good you are in crypto.

This is very correct but not absolutely correct and the reason why I said its not absolutely correct is because some have made big money through cryptocurrency by knowing little or nothing and the moment I am talking about was 2017, it was a rosy time for everyone in the Crypto space but that doest not invalidate the whole post because knowledge is power ,so empower yourself by seeking knowledge

Well everybody has their own stories of crpyto currencies experiences and what they have learned here, how did they even got in these mess, or where would it lead them to. We people from third world countries search as possible easy money to earn despite of what the job may be. In most countries that have high standards, pennies for them are like gold for us. In order for most of us to be lifted from the life of being poor, we grab opportunities like these, we have believed that one day crypto will give us another chance and make us through the hardships in life. We now are ready to embrace outcomes, we are strong people who have been in so may struggles in life, and we run as fast as we can just to leave our sufferings behind.

What makes you think that IEO are better than ICOs? the manipulation of exchanges os far has been really blatant in some cases... There are many coins that i follow for the next months : @certikorg , @NuCypher , @BeatzCoin @BlockcloudTeam @maticnetwork .. and i wouldnt like to be left out just because exchange decide to not assigne coins to me because there are a lot of investors pending...

For me, it is quite unfair for the side of the investors that people around the world are just seeing the opportunity upon knowing what crypto can bring is just to provide them financial stability. Not considering the fact about the benefits of cryptocurrency and the block chain, though, I am not generalizing people here, but I can see much of members are meant this way.

it's true that if we go into crypto we certainly have to learn from scratch. because knowing crypto is not as easy as we think. because I personally still need crypto, to know about the development of crypto and the purpose of crypto.

I was one of those guys who run faster than their shadows. I never expect to really be disappointed after experiencing the crypto winter that lasted more than a year. All the money  I thought was ready to be turned  into fiat are gone with the wind. Too  bad I was expecting  more when all are taking profit  but sure not going to commit same mistake.

I totally agree with you. cryptocurrency is a very large area and without certain knowledge and skills that you need to improve, you can not go further

Everything you wrote here are true,many rush in believing to turn millionaire overnight but failed because they have refuse to learn what it takes to succeed here.I hope somebody can learn from here.

The crypto sphere is no different than the other spheres where you can succeed or fail. We all bring our good and bad traits into whatever we do, so this applies equally to the crypto space. Contrary to what many so called experts preach, there is no magic formula you can use and get rich. The make-money-fast kind of people are attracted to these recipes and usually fail. So yeah, you should learn the ins and outs of this space and use sound economic logic to succeed. As you said, one's shadow is always with oneself, so personal development is also important if one is going to make it.

Well said ! Crypto market is a place where you can earn according to experience and knowledge. Just work and trade according to your experience and see the shadow running with you. When there will be no one , only shadow will be there with you that means only your knowledge and experience.

I hope newbies will learn actually ,they are the ones taking the wrong path on crypto space and promoting fake projects ,even now that investors are turning to IEO investment some innocent people are still falling victims,there is no way in crypto space if you aren't ready to learn first

Many have been talked into believing that crypto sphere is where the wealth lies,and after so much hype,they decided to join the moving train with the mindset of having their own share of the cake,no wonder,the moment such people joined,they will be asking for project that will make them millionaire and after one or two disappointment, they will be frustrated. It takes more than just a hype to succeed in the cryptosphere.To have it your way here,you need to understand that:
1.Just like life is not a bed of roses,so also cryptosphere is not,every aspect of life come with challenges, you need to take time to analyze the challenges to be able to have a way out of it.
2.Don't just come with the mindset of taking profit because someone promised some signal which are all trial by error,learn what it takes to take profit.
3.Learn from the mistakes and the achievement of those ahead.
4.Don't limit yourself,there are so many areas to explore in the cryptosphere,learn as much as you can because the more you know,the more you see,opportunity will not surface until you learn what it takes to see it.
