when I did this I didnt save these because it was confirmed on the block chain that they had been to my wallet.
Ok, please answer all of my following questions:
Go to
https://www.blockchain.com/explorer, put your Bitcoin address in the box and press enter. You will be redirected to the explorer page of your address.
If you don't know your addresses, you can click "Wallet Properties" and check the ones you used on "Used Addresses" and "Change Addresses".
1. Is the final balance of the address correct? Or does it have 0 BTC?
2. Do you see any outgoing transaction that you didn't remember making?
In case you just want to import your wallet on Electrum, a lightweight SPV wallet, like suggested above:
1. Select your wallet and go to "Backup this wallet".
2. Click on "See Other Backup Options" -> select "Export Key Lists" -> click on "Export Key Lists".
3. A new dialog will show up. Select only "Private key (Plain Base58)" and "Omit spaces in key data".
Now, download Electrum[1], verify the pgp signature (
tutorial) and do the following to import your private keys:
1. In the "new wallet" wizard select "Standard wallet" -> "Use public or private keys"
2. Enter the private keys you took from Armory into the textbox.
3. After importing the private keys, you should see your balance, if any.
