Why dont new versions in windows support trezor?!?! =(
That seems backwards.....

The latest version does support Trezor. There was a problem initially but it was sorted out so all the latest versions now support Trezor. You can get the latest builds from here: https://download.electrum.org/

Check the 2.5.4 folder for the latest releases

Hellz yeah! Just tested =) works. ... thanks!

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/electrum-24-binaries-1154865

Version 2.4.2 was released today, with OSX and Windows binaries.
See https://electrum.org/#download

However, hardware wallets (trezor, ledger) are not supported in the current Windows binaries.
If you use a hardware wallet, please wait until we have better binaries.

Try to use another Operating system (Linux or Mac) and try since he said only Windows binaries .

Thanks. Guess that explains it. I will have to use an alternative for the time being.

Just get version 2.3.2, I use it with a Trezor and it works fine.

You can get all the downloads from here https://download.electrum.org/

Any news on the windows binaries and hardware wallet support? I am still on 2.3.3 and trezor

Nothing really , as I said on the post above I guess ThomasV is working on Dash coin now and not on Bitcoin and as you can see here : https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/blob/master/RELEASE-NOTES the latest version is 2.5 however it's not complied and nothing changed for whatcomes to the hardware walelt support (they added Support for KeepKey hardware wallet i suppose only)  and if you check the download page you will only see 2.4.4 for downloading .

windows binaries above 2.3.3 don't work with trezor/any hardware wallet

So I bought a Trezor, and when I go to setup the hardware wallet, electrum just closes.  Check off "create new wallet"  "hardware wallet" click "ok", on the next screen check off "trezor wallet" click "ok" and it closes.

I have already uninstalled, and re-installed Electrum to no avail.  I would really like to get this figured out as the only reason I even bought this was to use in conjunction with electrum..lol Hopefully Armory implements it soon.

I dont have Trezor but last few releases dont support Trezor may be you can use more older Electrum like 2.2.1

Would be odd to have a Trezor option, if it doesn't support it.

Would be nice to hear from a dev on this.
