On my PC it was showing nothing so I use "Compatibility mode to Windows 7" and it works but take time to open. (1 Minute).

Maybe your problem is related with version of OS, some users have similar problems, so try to update your OS. It is also possible that some old / new files are not compatible or some file is corrupted. Since you have seed try to delete everything related to Electrum : Open Finder -> Go to folder (shift+cmd+G) and type ~/.electrum

If you can't get it to work with the instructions above and you're in a hurry, install Electrum to other devices like Android phone or Windows PC and restore from SEED.
Having the SEED does makes a difference, it can restore your wallet's addresses as it is, except from the history labels, settings and contacts.

If you can't get electrum to start all then try renaming the directory .electrum in your home directory i.e. ~/.electrum. Then run electrum and if it starts restore from seed. If it doesn't then move electrum to the trash, reinstall it and then try restoring from seed.

I have been using an old version and until today I could get it to work.  I have gone to the website, verified signature and cannot update my electrum on my Mac which I just updated to the latest version.  I deleted the old version and that didn't change anything.   It tells me every-time that this version of electrum is damaged and should be moved to trash.  Any help please??  Time sensitive issue here!!  I have my seed phrase as well if that makes any difference!
