Some old threads can be very helpful for newbies. So all they need is just to search for their questions and most likely they'll be able to find all the information they need. Of course there're some threads that doesn't have any useful and actual information and they could be closed, but I don't know who should decide whether they should be closed and when.

There are reasons to keep them alive, even though it is not informative for overwhelming majority of people. Such topics might help to research the past and make the observation about a company on the past base.

Does anyone else feel old threads that have no meaning anymore should be shut, or has Any other suggestions or views?
When I was in Jr member rank, there were times that some old useless thread were deleted that was some months ago. I read a thread in this forum explaining it. Many were confused(including me) why their number of posts were decreasing.
