Lol these "investment" instruments are the last thing you should look at when looking for "scalable/easy". Those are merely gambling(yes, even stock options). If you want something easy, probably take a look at dividend investing. Though of course, "easy" investments mostly tend to give the lowest returns. There's no such thing as a safe/easy investment that at the same time gives high yields.

As for dropshipping and affiliate marketing, all those can work. It's really up to you if you can get them to work.

EDIT:
Any other thoughts? Dropshipping? Affiliate marketing? FB ads?
I took a look at the website linked in your profile, and no offense, since you're already demanding those rates, shouldn't you know what works well for you(and what doesn't) already?

P.S. Again, I'm not trying to attack you here.

No offense taken - and valid points.

I guess what I meant is finding a way to remove myself from the equation - not selling my time for $.

And yeah stock options is basically systemized gambling or strategic - I mean one could argue investing is gambling - it's a bet that this xyz will do well in earnings, go up, etc.

That's why i asked - to source more ideas

Agree that he shouldn't be looking for easy and scalable. You always get what you ask for (easy) but never want you actually want (safe).

I slightly disagree that the options he mentioned are gambling though. I'm not a fan of these DeFi platforms like Compound he mentions, but yeah, you are only slightly better off using them than going to the casino, mainly because the funds are not necessarily safe in those platforms, and the tech securing them aren't mature enough in my opinion.

P.S. I have actually now tried one of those platforms (Nexo) with a small amount. Hell of a risk.

Why not achieve your dream of travel and payment in cryptocurrencies?
There are a lot of people who have made money from YouTube and doing Around the world with bitcoin, and some cryptocurrency donations.
The coming year may be positive, so try to develop yourself and collect the most amount of BTC, and you may be able to double it over the coming years.

Short answer is self-development, if you like watching videos, download some Andreas M. Antonopoulos videos or download some e-books and start learning.

I would advice that you don't put everything in crypto (and only in Bitcoin). The one mistake people make in my opinion is that they think diversifying in crypto means to buy a lot of crypto but remember, Bitcoin itself is diversification of money.

Also, keep most of it in your own wallet. It won't earn you interest but putting it into DeFi and all that? Risky. Just look at what happened to MakerDAO in March. It was supposed to be risk-free and guaranteed.

Everybody sort of dreams this kind of life, traveling, immersing in different cultures, mixing with different people, earning without a boss, and so on.

I've watched vlogs of digital nomads, too. I think you've got a lot of options in this digital age. You can create videos, write articles, maintain a website, do programming projects, create designs for apparels and other stuff, do tutorials or teach, do live streaming, sell photos, sell stuff, trade, and yeah get involved in affiliate marketing and dropshipping.

I used to follow Eight Miles from Home on Youtube. They're a digital nomad couple, and now with a daughter, residing on a beautiful island south of the Philippines. They have this video which you could learn some tips from: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WrfDhMJWa18.

Your topic is similar to "how to get money doing easy tasks". Right?
However, you already in the field as a freelancer. What do you expect others to suggest for you? I think the best advice is to improve your skills in writing. Maybe you can extend your business by making articles in the crypto space.
This topic may be suitable to your asks: Obtain Criptocurrencies without buying them

If i am not wrong, user Welsh [stuff member] was traveling solo. You may ask him to give you some good advices.

I'm wanting to try the digital nomad lifestyle for a while.
I envy you Bro. This is in my to do list since a long time and still waiting to make my first journey.
I am sure that you will keep traveling once you succeed the first time. Good luck <3

I'm wanting to try the digital nomad lifestyle for a while.

I'm giving myself around a year to save up the money to not only give myself a buffer, but also to hopefully use to live off the interests.

I have a 100% remote income from writing but would rather use it to further build wealth when traveling.

I'm also a photographer/videographer and am hoping to somehow find brands to shoot with, or shoot Airbnb, travel/tour companies, to help finance traveling through free stuff or pay.

For the money I'm thinking of:
- Crypto (duh). Immediate buffer in Compound or some other DeFi platform in DAI yielding.
- Additional crypto probably selling options
- Stock options

Any other thoughts? Dropshipping? Affiliate marketing? FB ads?

I know this is a little different for this forum but it never fails to surprise me with how helpful this community can be.
