So let's see if this could ignite another altcoin rally, started by ETH already.
Probably or not. Cardano is a good platform too, and with this hardfork some of crypto users will probably get interested in this. Anticipating a pump for an event usually the strength of cryptocurrency. But always be vigilance cause sometime the vice versa happened.

In my opinion, this will not greatly affect the price, they still do not offer anything cool.
We are not sure about that. Trading perspective this is a good coin, but yeah I like eth more than ada but lately they have been going on with alot of improvement on their development.

Cardano’s Shelley Hard Fork is Happening Tomorrow, No Interruption Expected

Quote
As Cardano prepares to migrate from the Byron to Shelley era with a planned hard fork, no interruption of service is expected.

On July 29, Cardano (ADA) will migrate from the Byron to Shelley era with a planned hard fork. The team stated that no interruptions to the Blockchain’s normal operations are expected, elaborating that “this is the moment when Shelley ‘comes alive’ on mainnet, introducing features such as stake pools, delegation and rewards, opening up a new era of decentralization for Cardano.”

I'm expecting that there will be some spike again on ADA based on this news. And for who wanted to follow, there is a countdown in this website,
