I believe some countries do run checks to see if their roads are still in good condition. But this seems like a luxury in most other countries. Both cars and roads check should be made a priority because any mishap from them can result to loss of lives.

If for every car you need to do your inspection every 1/2 years so you can drive them why the roads don't need an inspection once in a while to have cars circulating on them?
