If there is a bid of 20 BTC when does the auction end?

Usually you have a general time when it ends.

This would be helpful for viewers.

Well the coin sold for 20btc. SO I think we can go ahead and close this auction and I will open another one listing another of the 10BTC coins.

Actually amazing. Maybe there's hope for Anduck after all?

Doubt it. The solid silver isn't as desirable and he's asking too much. Smiley

You keep saying the solid silver isn't as desirable.  I think your opinion is not the consensus, nor is it consistent with the attitude of coin collectors.  I own both and prefer the solid silver.
I own both and prefer silver w/ gold b.

If you had a room full of 1000 people and offered each the solid silver or the silver /w gold b for free, i bet most would take the silver /w gold b over solid silver. most wouldn't care if the solid-silver was produced in less quantities.

I'm with OgNasty, I'm in the solid silver camp. I don't own either of the 10BTC coins sadly, but I do own the 1BTC version and prefer the solid silver in this instance. Each to thier own I say!

I prefer the Gold BTC versions myself, but it is all personal preference. I will say that the gold BTC coins do command a premium over the all silver coins when dealing with singles. There are not enough of the 10BTC coins selling to determine if that is the same for them or not.

I offered cash in the other thread.  No reply.
I guess cash is soooo EOL
Your cash offer of $4500 was only the Bitcoin equivalent of ~16.6 btc at current exchange rates. He appears to be pretty firm on his 20 btc asking price.

Heh.
With the price of bitcoin constantly tanking, he will want the $4500 soon enough.   I reserve the right to withdraw my cash offer at any time.

still holding firm at 11 "original" bitcoins. My 11 btc is better than these losers above me posting, trying to pawn off some new-fangled 16 btc they just hustled from some old lady ;P

Haters gonna hate...just sell me your 10BTC Casascius already and get it over with.
