I have another 0.5 Casacius coin. its a brass one. One of the very last ones sold my Mike. It comes with mikes Signature PDF showing a pic of the coin on it.

Im looking for 1 btc for it. I appreciate some of you will say 0.75-0.8 is more probable. but I bought this for my son hes 2 years old. so I dont need to liquidate it for ages yet! however I like the idea of digital funds for liquidity reasons.

Will post pics soon.

Yeah just to be honest with you, not one person here will buy that for 1BTC.  I totally understand putting it up for sale though.. "If it sells awesome, if not oh well". Good luck w/sale.
Got to be dumb to buy one for 1 BTC when you could get a lot of them sub 0.9 BTC easily though.

Hey all. hope you all having a great weekend.

As for the price... my asking price is fixed. If you can find casascius coins at face value then please let me know and i will be happy to buy some more. I bought this coin for an investment and i paid 0.75 but btc was more then it is now. so im looking to break even on it. if you want to invest in btc then go digital. This coin is collectors. I am happy to open this discussion about the value of the coin in 15 years relative to the price of btc. I bought to coin for my son but need to liquidate it.

Now back to the coin. sorry for not updating you guys sooner im very busy.

ok so signed copy pdf from Mike Caldwell. In this batch of 0.5 btc coins is my coin:

running a search on casascius website shows the coin and when it was loaded. it really was one of the last coins. as i understand it.... this coin was sold at a trade show by mike. Also super important the coin was 1 transaction on it... which is when mike loaded it:

now to keep this safe we would use the best most reputable escrow service for bit coin sales. if anyone know a few places we could use please post on here. Iv never sold a btc before but I appreciate the buyer needs security also.

I’m asking for 0.875 -  yes it’s strong money but with btc close to doing a bull run I’m sure in a few months it will be worth that at face value! I really didn’t want to sell it but Circumstances have changed and I need to cash out. Accept btc, eth, ltc.

Ill sell you some sand, don't worry I know sand is only worth $10 per ton now, but in a year it will be worth $20 so what I will do is sell you this sand now for $15 and in a year you will be really happy.

Do you see the issue with this statement?

the price of sand could hit $50 a ton before year-end

1x 0.5 brass casascius coin

I don’t know much about these coins but if you dm me ur email address I’ll send you a pic.

What I do know and have is.... the code which you can see on the coin tells you when it was loaded. And see there has only been 1 transaction on it. So it’s unused. Also I have an off emailed to me by casascius where he scanned the batch of coins and signed it off.  You will be able to see (from the code) that in this pdf pic of the” batch” includeds the coin I have for sale.

No sure how to add pics on here but just DM me and I’ll email you pics.

The face value value of the coin will always be .5 (and any of the shitcoin fork values).  If you selling for digital bitcoin and the loaded value is bitcoin than usd price is irrelevant.  And future usd value is always speculative.  Although i agree that i think bitcoin will have a big year that speculation does not affect todays (usd) value.  Great coin you have though and good luck with your sale
