Hey,

Next time, feel free to use our company, BitInstant.com which has a fantastic reputation.

-Our fee is 4.49% - 4.99% (Depending on volume)
-Most deposits are verified within 30 minutes as the process is completely automated.
-Besides for Bank of America, we have accounts in CitiBank, Chase, and Wells Fargo.

-Charlie

I will try you guys next time.  I like testing out all the various services.

What I really want, tho, is MtGox to reinstate cash deposits.  Then there is zero deposit fee, just the 0.6% trade fee. Smiley

ExchB is sadly gone.  MtGox has suspended their cash deposits.  What exchange will let me get USD in by making a cash deposit at a US bank?

YES!

Early next week BitInstant will be launching Instant Cash Deposits into TradeHill and MtGox (CryptoXchange and VirWox within the next few days)

Deposit CASH at Chase, CitiBank, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, ING and more banks and credit unions to fund your exchange accounts!

This works very simply, you go to Bitinstant.com, initiate a transfer and a deposit slip will be generated. Unlike other exchanges that offer cash deposits, our service connects with all the banks for INSTANT verification and money transfers! As soon as your deposit is made, our systems will be polled to initiate a transfer to your exchange account!

Our fee will likely be in the 3%-4% range of your total deposit- as always the higher the deposit, the cheaper it is.

I literally was amazed today when I tested it. From the time I deposited it with the teller, 37 minutes later the funds were in my TradeHill account.

Cheers

If you already have a bank account with one of those banks, will it be possible to make an online deposit to your account?

I'm almost certain no (The way the automated system works) but let me find out.

Thanks.

CryptoXChange.com - deposit cash at any Bank of America.

with a $15 fee?  No thanks.

Hi geek-trader,

We understand the fee is prohibitive for some customers depositing smaller amounts, and we are currently trying to get this fee reduced by at least half.

In the mean time, our customers generally see their funds within 24-48 hrs which we believe is currently the fastest available. So, if the main concern is fees and you have plenty of time, then we probably won't be a good choice until our fees are lower. But, if you need the deposit quickly and are depositing a larger amount, we're ready to help!

Regards,
