Right now Nigerians do not know who is playing Who. We did not even know who is telling the truth and who is lying. We do not know whether the cbn governor is lying to us and whether the bank managers are actually telling us the truth that there is no money in the bank. We cannot tell if the whole EFCC and ICPC blowing hot is all part of the plot. But what I know is that the masses are just pawns in the whole game
I agree with you, every party involve has their agent and they are just toying with us, the politicians are saying it is a ploy to rig or stop the elections, while Efcc is using this as PR to get applauded by the public. What was the effect of the arrest? Are they taking the bank managers to court or is it all for show? The banks that were caught withholding cash, have they started disbursing the money to their customers? The answer is NO.

It is high time all this people are been arrested and put behind bars, they’re the cause of the money scarcity problems we are facing in Nigeria now. Why will you hold cash in your vault when people are suffering and queued outside for their money. For this naija no be only our leaders be the problem, even us too dey punish ourselves seriously.

Corruption wey dey for 9ja, na from head to the toe. Every sector dey corrupt and everybody don dey think say corruption na normal way of life for nigeria.
People wey wan their plenty pass people wey dey thief already. Any small hardship, fellow Nigerians go utilize am dey suffer their fellow Nigerians.
Karma go follow everybody wey dey do wetin dem dey do for this Nigeria.

In Igbo there is adjective that perfectly describes the current reality of what Nigerians are going through - "Ikeguru". I am tired. We are all tired. CBN should have a good knowledge of the exact figure of the N1000, N500 and N200 old naira notes that are been used and if these notes were to be replaced, the same figure should have been printed and all this suffering would have been averted. Maybe they did not print enough of the new notes because they want to promote cashless economy or it is the bank managers that are giving priorities to politicians for their own selfish gain, who would receive the money and keep it for the forthcoming elections, thus not getting to the ordinary man on the street... Well these are all speculations.

What do you believe in?
The corruption is just in every sector; how can a bank manager hold that sum without dispensing it to their customers? Instead, they are allowing people to suffer and stand in long queues at the ATM; some even fight and abuse themselves there. I see on social media lots of incidents of violence that have taken place due to this Nigerian new naira note stuff. Let them just throw the manager in jail and charge him for a theft attempt.

Some crack up Videos I came across, is just so funny but, dem... this is so serious with Nigeria and this Naira stuff.

A common Naija man na how to use any slight opportunity wey e see take extort people na e we know. Plus Buhari, Emefiele, the bank managers, the bankers, customers and everybody na the same thing. After we go dey blame government when even the common man for street dey corrupt. They prefer to see you suffering and making profit from your sorrow or hardship. Make EFCC visit all the banks nation wide by sending their squads to different places make e no be only for Abuja because for my side here na the same thing we dey pass through. Anyway thank God say things go soon return to normal because court don extend the date wey the swap go end.

Two Sterling Bank managers in Abuja have been apprehended by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC). A statement from the ICPC disclosed that its operatives arrested the Regional and Service Managers of the financial institution last Friday for hoarding N258 million in the bank’s vault. The new Naira notes were given to Sterling Bank by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to disbursement to customers to ease the tension caused by Naira scarcity.

Good job to these guys. These managers don't even have conscience, N258 million naira is a huge amount of money. How can someone hoard such an amount of money while a lot of persons are suffering? God help us in this country. I just hope they would be made to face the full wrath of the law.

At this point the money issue has to be taken seriously, because bankers them they sell money now just to make profit, you go go back to withdraw them no go gree pay money with the motif of selling the money to POS agents ,make the follow arrest the POS operatives because them too they follow spoil things with there high charges. Citizens are suffering and the bank managers no dey look people faces one man been dey cry for bank say em no get money to chop again Omo I just pity the Man, and this bankers and their managers they there to pursue the man outside. Make them start they arrest POS operatives join.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Monday arrested an operations manager of a leading commercial bank in Abuja Central Area for refusing to load the Automated Teller Machines, ATMs, of the bank despite having N29 million of the redesigned Naira notes in the branch’s vaults. Before he was whisked away for further questioning, the operatives ordered the loading of all the ATMs and the payment of the stipulated amount across the counter to the delight of the distraught customers who had spent hours in queues without getting the new notes.

The past few weeks has been a living hell for nigerians as many persons could not have access to their cash even with CBN claiming that it has released 85% of the newly redesigned naira notes to the commercial banks for circulation. The operatives of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission agency (EFCC) yesterday in Abuja arrested the bank manager of a commercial bank for hoarding N29M naira new notes. According to the informent dem deliberately no gree dispense the new notes say e no dey. As EFCC dey go round dey monitor the situation for the area, come see the large number of persons wey queue up dey wait to withdraw their money. As dem enter the bank, dem come ask the bank manager say dem want see the vault and when dem open the vault naso dem see the new naira notes starched inside. Naso dem give order say make them immediately load up the ATM machines with the cash and start to the pay customers over the counter and dem come arrest the bank manager carry am commot. This information really sweet me for belle and I hope to see more of such persons hoarding the new naira notes arrested.
