Just for my own concern, want to know whether anyone here has still tried to withdraw anything over hitbtc and received it yet? I've asked for a withdrawal yesterday and it's more than 24 hours and no updates as of yet. Should this be a matter of worry? I see them being active 24/7 "ban-hammering anyone, they feel, shouldn't post anything."

EDIT: Guys, I can finally see the funds sent from their wallet, but the fee was less due to which it's unconfirmed for hours.

Stop storing coins on any exchange. You risk losing access to your coins if they encounter operational and compliance issues. HitBTC and all other exchanges own the coins while they are stored in their system. The private keys are known to them only. Their customers only see numbers on their phone or laptop screens which represent what they own but they are just that... numbers. Nothing more. To truly say you own and have the coins, you must have them in a wallet with keys you and you alone know, own and control.

Do your due diligence before sending coins to anybody or any exchange or service. Don’t be enticed by their website’s futuristic graphics and impressive words. It’s what their developers are paid to do... create a selling product.

Everyone already knows that. How come you can do quick trades if your coins isn't on trading platforms. Anyway the main issue here is HitBTC problem in deposit and withdrawals recently.

I see some numbers of threads hitting HitBTC about that problem so maybe there is really something that is going on.

I've just recently traded around 0.07 BTC there, it's shady not a scam.

I started a withdraw attempt around 24 hours ago, usually, it's sent within an hour, but this time it took 8 hours.

Also, I paid a 0.0009 withdraw fee, so I was expecting it to confirm fairly fast, instead, they sent the transaction with a 150 sat/byte fee.

Swapping to binance.

Same. I did some withdrawals there too recently and I received the amount. My concern is, it tooks 10 hours before it was sent unlike in the past where less than hours is enough waiting time.

Bottom Line: HitBTC isn't an official scam yet as majority can still do deposit and withdraw. It's just that numbers of complaints are constantly increasing because of poor handling of their support. If anyone is planning to make deposits here, think twice. If anyone still have funds here, then they might think of migrating to other trading platforms.

I am more than 5 days without receiving my TRX confirmed in block. When transferring to my HitBTC portfolio they are gone.

Ticket 114467 still without any return.

It's not just limited to you, but there are many users who are complaining, few regarding deposits, many regarding withdrawals. TRX looks to have gained a lot there due to the limited number of coins being sold at each level and for that, they might have gone "maintenance mode" just like bittrex, but by being quiet on what's going on there, they're proving themselves to be guilty. Mods ban people without thinking, based on their convenience so as to stop others "spamming the chat by complaining there" (according to them).

Actually even 150 sats/byte is fine but they started recently delaying their withdrawals and then adding over 50 addresses to send out batch payments which takes too much time to confirm. Yesterday I withdraw 0.07 BTC which took 3 hours for them to send and the transaction itself took 24 hours to confirm. Other exchanges are even worse and hence mostly all appear shady but most of my coins are listed on hitbtc unfortunately.

@OP: Their rates are almost similar to other exchanges but they have too many issues and their support also doesn't respond in time. Rest, they aren't scam yet.

There are a few shady things that I encountered on their exchange while trying to trade there:
- Deposits of tokens that Rose in value already or are still rising, fresh example of which is TRX (Tron) take longer time to show or for few, they don't even show up (possible manipulation of the market through their exchange to keep the flow go on by showing others how they could make more on hitbtc than any other exchange, and then, scam the users by running away - a possiblity).
- Some tokens can only be bought or sold with a fixed number, i.e.; you need to, and can buy exactly 1000 coins (in multiples of 1000) for selected tokens and some coins are traded in limited decimals.

Thousands of people already facing problems with Deposit / Withdrawal on HitBTC.

Do not send money to this Exchange. You will never take back your money.

HitBTC do not have address, do not have any real contact. Seems they were waiting big cap of money and right now they started crash procedure.

Even more, look to their exchange rates. In their exchange all currencies are almost 20-30% more expensive comparing with other. This is how they attract new people and do not let them how with their money.

Be careful!

Hope this post help to many people.

God bless you
