Well, the Canadian government is a pure joke. Since Harper arrived, with his western mentality, he really screwed the eastern provinces. It's much more like a Republican vs Democrat mentality now, which we pretty much avoided before he arrived. Flahartys thoughts doesn't surprise me

Purely anticipation. Now that the day is over, the exchange rate lowered to 155. I expect to be much lower tomorrow. People will try to sell high before the week-end dip

Sounds to me like there's demand in Canada and none of the big arbitrageurs are up and running on that particular exchange yet.
