The Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN has vowed to sanction any commercial bank hoarding the new naira notes from the public. According to CBN, from Thursday (today), monitoring of commercial banks will commence, in order to know those who are not giving the new naira notes to customers.

In other hand, CBN suppose create much awareness for the street based on how peso go suppose the differentiate the fake naira note and the real. No be to give sanction be the problem, peso fit tell the real and counterfeit naira notes easily.

You go fit believe sae many Nigerians neva take their eyes see the new naira notes since wey the redesign am till now.

This policy make sense I no go lie especially for the fact say na mostly our politicians the law go affect most because na same them go need plenty physical cash to take carry out their corrupt practices no be person we no get money.
This very law no get any major effect on a common citizen of the country wey still dey struggle how he go take meet up life and if at all the policy later come stand, then before then, the common man go don adapt to the change.
On the other hand, the law get great impact on us especially crypto users wey dey always prefer anonymous transactions because with this very move wey CBN and government dey take like this, I no sure say privacy go dey again.

As the matter be now, e no be new thing again say CBN no want people to dey carry plenty cash for body dey Waka up and down. Dem say they prefer make money dey inside system (bank) dey flow so dem go fit track every transaction wey dey happen. The problem now be say whether the thing go work smoothly or not because from the history no be the first time be this wey CBN dey introduce this kind policy but e dey fail.

In 2012, the Sanusi Lamido-led Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) introduced cashless policy with the aim of reducing the quantum of physical cash that is being used in the system in an attempt to cut down on cash handling expenses of banks.
During that period na just few states implement the policy before they con suspend am in 2015. So how this new one intended to be different from the previous one?
