Hi OP, I hope you aren't a victim of any email scam as it's very common, they get the list of people who are going through this and they email them with the false hope of getting their money back. I would ask you to email the support of Celsius and wait for the official reply or DM them on Twitter.

This is their Official Website: https://celsius.network/
here is the official Help Center: https://support.celsius.network/hc/en-us

Good Luck!

I never used Celsius, but I have a friend who was also a victim of the collapse of the service. They had a good amount of crypto in there, and were so depressed for months. About a month or so ago, they told me that they receive a notification about proof of claim and even asked me if the process would get done quickly so that they would get back their money soon, but I let them know that it could even take years.

I hope what you received was not a scam email. Be very careful.

i have 20 eth on celcius as recent update do i have to file a clam for it.

Yee, You will need to file claim for your balance to be claim once the court already decided on how to settle all the asset of the customer. It’s painful to have that kind of huge balance inside celsius while you can only receive part of it best is 20% for that amount.

What are you thinking for not filing claim that moment Celsius file bankruptcy? Are you offline for a long tieme while this bankruptcy on Celsius happening?

Were you sent an email saying the deadline is August second? I could be wrong but it looks like you're late from claiming if you haven't done that already. AFAIk, the date has been postponed from January[1] to April 2023 already. I couldn't find any recent articles.

Proof of claim (deadline August 2, 2023)

Hey guys does this legal notice and this proof of claim that is being requested finally include earn accounts? I have no idea what to do. The legal notice with the legal jargon really do a number on you but I want to make sure I don’t miss something on this front.

Thanks for any info.

would you mind further elaborating? what is Celsius that you are talking about? Is it a wallet? if so, did the 20 Eth appear out of nowhere after an update since you mentioned "as recent update"? what do you mean when you say "file a claim for it"? it would be good to clarify what exactly is going on or what exactly is it you are experiencing.
