I keep on changing my masks very frequently and as well doctor recommends not to be keep using same masks again, though you may wash it regularly. As well strange people keep the same mask for a year irrespective if they use it or not.

Yes I have cloth Mask but not using them anymore I used surgical mask because it offers the best protection compared to cloth, I have boxes of surgical mask purchased on discounted price, the surgical mask is very in demand here in our country because it is the one recommended by health experts than mask made in cloth.
I think if somebody wants to use the same mask for one year during Covid than that is their right.
However I think they are serious health risks by using the same mask for such a long amount of time.
Add bottom I think people should be able to do what they want to do but they have to live with the consequences.

Bad, I use my mask for 3-4 hours and changed immediately, I order 10 box surgical mask over 9 months ago, and now 2 box left. I rarely leave my room. once in a while, going to mini market to buy milk and food then throw away my mask on trash.
I didn't expect anyone to be able to use the same mask for a year, it's very rare for someone to be able to do that. This is an amazing achievement,

Sadly I lost it !!! And the crazy thing is - like you - I’ve gone through countless of those rubbish blue/white ones since !! Not good for the environment or my wallet
Ouch.There's also the black color. We've got all of those three colors, white, blue and black. They're cheaper than it was a year ago. A lot of supply came out recently and the hoarders have released their stocks.

I have to search for it, do I still have the mask which is a year old now but I am still having a complete face mask which is almost 7 to 8 years old and the mask used inside our helmet while riding a motor cycle. And it still looks fresh though. 
Send it to the lab to find out how many germs and poisons it has in it.

I never thought of using the same mask for that long period of time but what i Did?
I have saved my very first Mask and now stays in my drawer cleanly , also my very first face shield .

I do not count how many masks I wear in these two years as I do not really care about that. We can not use the same mask every day because that can contain a virus that we do not know. I will replace it with the new one if I already wear a mask for about 1-2 hours in a row because my doctor recommends me.

I am also surprised that someone has kept or uses it for a year. Unless has a hobby of collecting it and storing but not using mask repeatedly for months then it is fine, else definitely a problem I see it here.

I've got a lot of masks and most of them are disposable. Got a few that's made by my mother but usually, I dump them after being used or I can no longer find them after washing it.

I don't know how you managed to last so long with a mask, every time I go out I lose one or I forget it in the washing machine and it ends up making me lose the maximum that it lasted was a week I think and that is to say a lot XD
I have couple of them I wear once in awhile, and they really serve their purposes. I don't plan on dumping them anytime soon just incase they require people who haven't taken the vaccine to wear them.
I will probably have them as long as possible to also help me filter out bad air especially now the air may be getting polluted with things we don't know whether they are safe for us or not.
I think people who might not need them now should consider keeping just like they would have Gas masks or Fire extinguishers in case of emergency.

I’m 100% sure it has NO virus filtering properties anymore , it is literally a token gesture . Very similar to people who don’t cover their noses with their masks
No it has filter still at least there is no direct effect compared to those who literally not wearing masks .Salute you mate for a Giving token to your mask for that long time.
