Their positions on the market are close connected with their 'faces' and it is very awful but quite profitable, I don't likek them abut they work very good among others.

Crypto market is an entertainment industry, in crypto market everyone is looking to make some good profit, so their influence won't really matter that much in the crypto market, many celebrities have tried to create their own coins but failed

Do you all think celebrity coins, like JayZ coins or beyonce-coin would ever catch on? They could be just like BTC or LTC.
Yeah Beyonce-Coin sounds like a good project.  Here are some of my suggestions: DeppCoin, CoinWilson, Emily Ratajcoin, RusselCoin, CoinonaRyder, OprahCoinfrey and Matthew McCoinaughey.  For extreme hard core coin I suggested: RoccoinSiffredi, AudreyBicoin, AlettaOcoin and CoinJeremy.  Cheesy

No matter the popularity of the celebrity even if is Drake or Cardi-B ...it can only help in selling out the tokens but won't help in making it successful by growing after ICO on the market... The only thing that's fundamental to any coin is the idea behind it, if it's genuine and has a novel idea utilising Blockchain technology

Now such successful projects do not exist and can not be. If there is a very technologically good project then it does not require PR on famous names.

From my opinion such coins have a chance for surviving and it depends on the celebrity's popularity and amount of his fans, they can also have a success in crypto.

Celebrity coins may excite the market but cannot work. This is because mere name without enabling technology can never create coins like bitcoin or Eth.

No, a coin value does not relay on its name, its all depend on the project behind it and how it will be apply to the mainstream life after launch, Also if a Spam Coin named after famous celebrity then it will defame their reputation.

A celeb's name is a brand. So they do not only sing/act/host/whatever, they are also businessmen. I think that a celeb may be followed by a lot of people in his/her crypto startup. Why not?

There is the trend to give a coin a unique name in the hope of attracting attention of investors. It is partly true to swaying investor's sentiments will make a coin a success. Good team, technology, purpose etc are always needed for a project to florish. So if the beauty coin has strong team, technology and purpose, it will become a success.

Unless the celebrity pitches it themselves and there's a unique technology and/or services behind, then maybe yes. If some does make one without a celebrity consent, can possibly get a lawsuit.

Even if a celebrities themselves risk tripping over federal securities laws and, according to legal experts, putting themselves in possible legal jeopardy with the SEC. This is due to untrustworthy management who care solely about the money, and if he ties a coin to a celebrity's name to it, that would rack in the cash. On the Idol Network, celebrities can create their own ICOs and their very own coin, but before they can do that, they would have to have a proposal to be accepted, usually so that fans who buy the coin will actually benefit from it like coin the concerts and having backstage passes and be entitled to exclusive parties etc.

It could catch on, if there is a real value behind the coin itself. But being the next bitcoin or LTC is unlikely. If you check out Idol Network https://www.idol.network it allows you to buy coins from celebrities who create coins. With these celebrity coin you can actually be entitled to backstage passes, exclusive parties or whatever the celebrity want to feature on their coin. Pretty neat!

I think that a coin's name is important, but jay-z? Beyonce? Come one. My opinion is that a perfect name for a digital coin is to remove the part with the COIN. Then try to find a nice name that sounds good, easy to pronounce and easy to learn.
