Off-topic: you do realize that showing the public profile like that is considered doxing?

Anyways I saw this on the token ann thread. This seems all like a petty scam. I wonder how many people were actually involved as part of their ‘team’?

Yes never good to talk bad about other. But because I also was a little involved in the project I had no choice. I need to help to solve what happende. For my own and for people trusting the project sake.

Think 5-6 people have contributed. A little more if you count community managers etc.

In my eyes it was a fine project and not a scam. Until it was Undecided
Hard times in crypto can get even fine projects to look like a failure. Before it ended overnight a card game had somehow given the project new momentum and looked like it could be the thing.

But please don't let this be a post with cleaver hindsight.
I use the post to inform others what we know so fare when they contact me. Because I was active on telegram and I don't delete any accounts. And I use my real name etc people contact me.
I made it here on bitcointalk so all the reply and make their information public.

Off-topic: No I mean you can get into real big trouble if the guy you are saying is a scammer is not really him. Best to remove any personal info unless you are 100% sure. Even revealing just the name can get you considered as doxing and get you in trouble legally.

This sort of scams should really be stopped. They are ruining the whole industry. ICO was the main point for mass adoption but now attracted concerns from SEC because of this type of scams.

So, what would pictures prove, that a guy that looks like that runs the business?

I used 2 full days to making sure he was the right person. He can only have tricked me if he have lived a full life as fake.

I had him to post to me from his Linkendin, facebook etc. Pictures was same. With other persons. 100 of pictures. All was looking OK to me.

So, what would pictures prove, that a guy that looks like that runs the business?
Remember how many interviews and conferences bitconnect and one coin members had?
The whole deletion after a dump means one thing, they cashed out, dumped the tokens and are enjoying their gains till they ran a new scam.

Went through that thread, bumped by newbies, no real discussion, the store is a WordPress site with woocommerce installed, it was all a cheap small budget scam from the start.

PS, the image of that guy can be found in the client's reviews of etherauthority.io
Checking a few of their projects..all ended badly.
Wonder if it was a client or a team member.

Unfortunately with all the links and accounts gone and nothing archived, there is little information left, the trail has gone cold.

Have you confirmed the identity of the rest of teams? If not even though they haven't deleted their accounts I still feel that they are fake people that's why they are not deleting it yet. Also I still can see Leon Song's Linkedin account and the only thing deleted is his picture so maybe he is the only one using his real identity here and he only deleted his pic in the hopes of covering his tracks.

I had him to post to me from his Linkendin, facebook etc. Pictures was same. With other persons. 100 of pictures. All was looking OK to me.
But all is weird and incomprehensible for me right now. I don't understand anything now.

Next week I will contact a few places where he made KYC. Hope I can get more details.

Even if he has hundreds of pictures in his account there is still a possibility that the account itself is from a "poser" in short a fake person and they might just be doing this to mislead you from the real culprits. At this point without anything to track on aside from their IP addresses and deleted accounts you literally have no resources for you to find them without the help from the authorities. So I think the best approach for this is for you to gather all the victims as you can and file an official complaint to the authorities for you to have a much needed help against this case. That's the only time you will have more answers and possibly find the ones who are really responsible for the scam.

Hypetoken.io

The site does not work. I wonder how much money people lost with this altcoin?

On December 10th the price was 10 satoshis and on December 11th the price had a large increase to 30 satoshi. That was clearly a manipulated price and currently the price is 2 satoshi. I'm very sorry for the people who bought this coin and made Hold
