Heard that they were trialling this a few weeks ago, though I never saw it for myself. I'm not surprised that Cex are getting in on Bitcoin. Sure that it is good publicity for them, their franchise pasted across articles.
Even when you go into their stores they are different, they play decent music, none of that Top 40 shit.
Hope that they put more ATMs around the UK.

I love how much free advertising this gets merchants. It's win-win by accepting it really, plus it's cheaper than accepting credit cards. I just hope more businesses realise this and see the benefits bitcoin has to them.

I also saw about the last time somebody posted the news here but then the option to receive bitcoins disappeared. I don't think I'm ready to spend any of my coins at the current price, but I will when they rise up a bit again.

Wow, that's great. I hoped it was just a trial and they hadn't removed it completely. So are they accepting/paying out in stores yet or is it just online?

Wow, it's great to see that they have an ATM in store, but are they definitely buying and selling with it? I noticed they had it listed on their website a couple of weeks ago but they then seemed to have taken it down.

CeX is now accepting bitcoin when buying and selling on their website webuy.com! Awesome! And they have Scotland's first ATM in one of their Glasgow stores!
