I was planning to invest in cex.io but having  1Gh/S there itself is giving negative balance and there are lots of people on chat saying negative balance for holding gH/S

have u guys heard about this ? anyone holding ghs there can confirm anything?

Yes, this has been going on for a while now. I have 72gH on CEX.IO as you can seehere:
https://cex.io/informer-small/PinoEire/b95adac116edfa35795082f4861c3009/

And my balance is always negativeAngry Angry Angry

They charge fees converting from US$ into BTC, hence you are losing money. They have been asked over and over again to charge US$ from the US$ balance, but they don't because obviously it's more profitable to them to charge BTC. I'll leave as soon as I can sell my gH/s decently and I strongly suggest everybody to steer away grom cex.io.

Yes I can confirm that I got negative balance when I invested in cex.io because of their maintenance fees. Sad

And if you're looking for other cloudmining options, please read this first.

Yeah, because of the amount that difficulty has gone up, I expect that the amount of BTC you now get from 1GH is now mostly eaten up by CEX's fees.
You should look for another site, there are plenty out there.

Maintenance fee eats up profit at CEX.io. Try other alternatives.
