It's amazing that in the 21st century with all the advances of technology, we have no alternative to CF. The paradox is that the forum can only function normally if it uses the services of someone who from the very beginning fights against everything Bitcoin stands for.
Years ago theymos opened a discussion Rant on Tor and with latest annoying performance of Cloudflare against Tor users, that discussion should be lively again.

They have bad reputation with Data leak.

I've used nothing but Tor Browser to access the forum for over a year, and it definitely feels like Cloudflare is slowly trying to make it harder and harder for people to keep doing that...
Makes you wonder why Roll Eyes

Bitcointalk needs a .onion site for Tor users, one that works without Cloudflare.
That would be a massive improvement (on more than one axis).

The forum (when accessed over Tor) is starting to feel like an old car that can only be started (and kept running) with arcane knowledge (e.g. you have to use a particular brand of starting fluid, jiggle the key in the ignition in just the right way, pump the clutch 3 times, and then say a little prayer). Grin

Any one (or sometimes a combination) of the following things may help (or not, depending on the phase of the moon):

(*) If you get stuck in a "verification loop", sometimes you can break out of it by navigating to https://www.bitcointalk.org (i.e. adding the www subdomain to the URL).

(*) If it says you've been "blocked", sometimes you can get past that by first navigating to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php and then going back to whatever page you were on.

(*) If it says you're being "rate limited" or have been "temporarily banned" (like in the OP), then try Ctrl+Shift+L (New Circuit for this Site). There's a button for this, but occasionally it'll disappear, so knowing the keyboard shortcut is worthwhile.

There are also some other little tricks (I can't remember them all, they're muscle memory at this point) that sometimes work and sometimes don't, like clicking on the address bar and hitting enter to refresh the page instead of clicking the refresh button (I use the numpad enter with my thumb, because it's right next to my mouse).

I've used nothing but Tor Browser to access the forum for over a year, and it definitely feels like Cloudflare is slowly trying to make it harder and harder for people to keep doing that...

I agree.

On many websites, that doesn't help anymore. Cloudflare just blocks all Tor users.
I know but with Bitcointalk at least it can help sometimes, not all the times. Ctrl+Shift+L two or three times will help recent days but it might not work in future.

Use Ctrl+Shift+L to get a New Tor circuit for this site.
~snip~

Or simply click on the icon next to the padlock in the address bar and select "New Tor circle for this site", and above are also all the data about the server locations to which someone is connected at that moment.

Currently i'm writing this reply from Tor Browser without CF annoy me in any way.
~snip~

I also confirm that everything is working properly for me, and maybe the problem OP is experiencing has to do with its location and a specific CF server?

OP is talking about Tor. Wiping the browser history is the default.
Yeah! Guess I misinterpreted that! Thank you for the correction

Check your connection and also refresh/clear your browser history. Then you can try again. This is helpful most times .

For the last an hour I am restarting tor, trying to make a post, above error appears,  then again I reset tor. If this continues then many members like me will lose interest to visit bitcointalk. We are being ruled by CF which is very strictly centralised and a US government friendly service.

It's a very old issue of CF through tor browsers connections. While you can follow above instructions but you should be used to it because theymos won't change or disable any time soon...

Use Ctrl+Shift+L to get a New Tor circuit for this site.

It will help you to solve the problem.

[Guide] New Tor circuit for this site

This option is useful if the exit you are using is unable to connect to the website you require, or is not loading it properly. Selecting it will cause the currently active tab or window to be reloaded over a new Tor circuit. Other open tabs and windows from the same website will use the new circuit as well once they are reloaded. This option does not clear any private information or unlink your activity, nor does it affect your current connections to other websites.
