Got my temperature problem sorted out. But if anyone could still shed some light on the whole cgminer not showing temps, and the annoying error message it gives me, that would be great.

yes and no. Your gpu clocks are probably too high now and a little lower will likely result in same hashrate on scrypt.  I have mine at 700 on my 5850's

Okay, well I'll have a fiddle with my settings and put them down a bit.
Would it be possible if you could share all of the setting you use? Would be really helpful as I've only been mining about a week and have yet to get it right Wink

I believe the default is 75.

It'll state it in here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/official-cgminer-mining-software-thread-for-linuxwinosxmipsarmr-pi-4110-28402

This will help too

--auto-gpu          Automatically adjust all GPU engine clock speeds to maintain a target temperature

Thanks for your help! However, will using --auto-gpu not give me lower hash rates because the clock speeds will go down?

add this

--auto-fan          Automatically adjust all GPU fan speeds to maintain a target temperature

and for 5850's you might find same hashrate with lower gpu clocks. It will drop temps too.

If they are in the same case, they are going to be hotter due to double the heat off the gpu's.

Ok cheers. Although what argument do I need to set a target temperature?

If they are in the same case, they are going to be hotter due to double the heat off the gpu's and not breathing as much(less airflow)

Delete your bin files in your cgminer folder when you restart it this time. Where your temp monitoring went I have no idea.

For some reason when I open up cgminer, I get greeted with the error message:
ADL found less devices than opencl!
There is possibly more than one display attached to a GPU.

I'm pretty confused with this because I haven't done anything that would cause this. The only thing that I've done today is add my second GPU into my rig. I've got 2 5850's running at the moment.
Anyone know why this is happening, and what I can do to stop it?

Secondly, these are the arguments that I have in my batch file to start cgminer:
cgminer --scrypt -o http://coinotron.com:3334 -d 0 -u xxxxx -p xxxxxx--shaders 1440 --intensity 19 --worksize 256 -g 1 --thread-concurrency 8000 --gpu-engine 900 --gpu-memclock 1000
When I just had my first card, I was getting steady temps of 62C. I added my second card and used the same batch file and I was getting temps of 90C. That doesn't seem right to me. Can anyone tell me why the temperature shot up so much, as they're both the same type of card. And how I can keep the temperatures around 72C.

Finally, for some reason (this only started happening today), the temperature monitors on cgminer have disappeared, so now I'm left with a blank space there instead. Which isn't very helpful as I have to use Afterburner to monitor the temps, and with intensity at 19, my computer is pretty unusable  Wink

Would be great if anyone could help me with these problems, as I just want to get my rig sorted and then let it mine without having to worry too much about it.
Cheers guys.
