I got 48 asics working last night on one Windows 7 mining rig.  During the night 12 dropped off (on 2 hubs that were daisy chained).  It was impossible to know which ones were disabled so I had to reboot the whole system.

I used cgwatcher to start cgminer and it gives you device details as well as all of the normal metrics - accepted, rejected, etc...

I used the zadig_2.1.0 to change the driver to WinUSB.  Started cgminer and reset all of the hubs.

All of that was on a mining rig with 3x7970s as well.  I was getting 20 Mhps on that rig.

I tried putting 8 asics on my personal pc and can't get more than 7 up.  I am thinking my pc has a lot more software and driver changes than my mining rig which was designed only for AMD Catalyst software, cgminer and cgwatcher.

I cant wait for a version of cgminer that will see the devices on startup.

Good luck!

Hopefully by then they can release a stable version as the developer had only one gridseed unit to test with.

Ok I have managed to get this working with 10 gridseeds
So follow the instructions from cryptomining-blog.com. About installing zdiag and download the miner software as well.

So edit the Ltconly batch file inside the cgminer gridseed folder. Open the file in notepad and we're it says --hotplug 0 change the 0 to 5.

Save changes.

Unplug your usb hub from your pc.
Run the Ltconly batch file.

Once the app connects to the pool. Plug in your usb hub
And software should pick up your miners.
Tested with 10 and works. Does not work with 20 miners.
I spent the whole day playing around and came out with this solution. Every time you restart the miner. You have to pull out the the usb hub. And run the batch file again and then plug the usb hub when connected to the pool

The software will crash if you try to run more than 2 miners with the the usb hub plugged in when launching the batch file.
