I think we misunderstand each other. The photo from the last post is from the rig that doesn't recognise the 4th card (also accepted share problems as you say).

Ah thanks! That helps. I thought that picture was your functioning rig.

Haha, definitely think it's the gremlins:
- all 64 bit systems
- disabled onboard GPU (in the BIOS right? Or did I forget it somewhere?)
- Ram is 4GB, I will try to pump it up yo 8GB see what happens.
Gotta be gremlins. Just for the Hell of it, maybe try running one instance of CGminer per card?

Gotta love that kind of strange behavior!

My guess would be that you're using a 32-bit variant of Windows on the "bad" setups and have an onboard GPU (have an APU), maybe running into the 4 GPU limit on those OSes. (dunno if similar limits exist on linux variants)

Other guess would be that you're low on system RAM in the "bad" systems.

Alternately - gremlins.

The working rig am talking about is a complete different one, it's this one:

On another rig I have a setup working perfect by using 3 x 1x-16x risers and 1 x16 straight on the board, this is exactly the same hardware/software.

This is what I was referring to. You said the above machine is "working perfect" but it is not. One of the cards is not getting any accepted shares.

Thanks for your suggestion, but could there be other possibilities than power. I tried running them on low intensity and still the same problem. Also the three other rigs run 4 cards high performance but. With respect to the OpenCL problem, how can I 'reset' that?

At least its accepted some shares (same miner as above). Also some weird temperature differences:

- I think the PSU is enough 1000w premium brand - other rigs run just fine

That is not enough for 3-4 GPUs hashing scrypt. I had a lot of problems with a premium 1250W PSU and 4 GPUs hashing scrypt. Had to up it to 1500W.

In addition if you check your first picture and look at the number of accepted shares (the A number) you will see there are issues there as well. The cards may be hashing but they are not getting accepted shares.

In your second pictures it looks like some sort of issue with your OpenCL / ADL configuration since the card that is hashing shows 35C and the one that is not hashing shows 61C.

Hello,
I hope you can help me to get my rigs up and running. I have 5 rigs with 4 x 7950 each. 3 of them run fine but I have trouble with 2 of them (same hardware and software).

One miner Windows/CGminer just doesn't recognise my 4th card (can't find it in Windows Hardware as well). I already tried a lot: test each card single, test all/different slots, connect then direct to the motherboard/use risers. On another rig I have a setup working perfect by using 3 x 1x-16x risers and 1 x16 straight on the board, this is exactly the same hardware/software.

https://www.evernote.com/shard/s12/sh/8d8b3ab7-fc51-4ac1-8898-b95d3fd2b94b/02d58aeda503cf23cc7d58481762b0b1/res/389f6045-83e0-4dcd-8d87-0b3a427e387d/skitch.png?resizeSmall&width=832

On another miner, one card of the three gives me a 0 speed. Card is fine, tested it on other rigs. Of course I also tried to connect 4 cards on this rig but it also doesn't show up:

https://www.evernote.com/shard/s12/sh/8c033a07-61fa-4c2f-a743-2366780bd9c6/b53919220eaafaa7ab5060ad92adeb85/res/a432f34f-6d2e-49a2-a20a-9fbd187af5ed/skitch.png?resizeSmall&width=832

Stuff I tried:
- I think the PSU is enough 1000w premium brand - other rigs run just fine
- Lower intensity/config
- Rebooting a lot / removing .BIN files
- I'm connecting via Teamviewer, so no output is connected to the cards. However, tried to connect HDMI/VGA adapters to the cards to 'activate' them, no success
- Latest driver/update

Some weird stuff:
If I connect only one card to the motherboard (tested all ports) it works fine, just not with 3 - 4 cards.

Using CGminer 3.5.0 - here is a config file: http://pastebin.com/3D7r4U0v
Windowss 64bit - Catalyst 13.9 - OpenGL 6.14

Thanks!
