Try adjusting your Engine and or memory clock speeds from within CGMiner.. press G (for GPU setts) and then hange settings. There you can see recommended setts. so try lowering then slowly going up with memory and engine. Do one change.. let it run then see after 30 secs whats happening.

So,
I'm tryin to mine on Manjaro linux 0.8.5 with cgminer. And a Sapphire Radeon 6950, with 6970 bios. (So its a full 6970 card)
I get the following errors:
Both when on BTC, and PPC on the pool.
And my mining results aren't show up at all.
