Official cgminer (which does not support gridseeds) supports the --usb option to pick which devices to use or not use. Read about it in the readme.

I think you should just stick with the antminer only, the 15 GH/s isnt worth the electricity cost of the gridseeds.

Hello,

I hope this is in the right forum. I have a two part question.

I have the listed set up...
Raspberry PI with cgminer 4.9.0 installed and setup to use the antminer u3 that I have for Bitcoin. I also have cgminer gs3355 installed for the three gridseeds 5chip miners. All of the miners are attached to the rasp pI via a 2.0 powered USB hub. I can see all the miners via lsusb in terminal. ls /dev/*USB* only shows the hub ttyUSB0. It doesn't show the individual miners.

How can I separate the miners so that cgminer 4.9.0 uses the antminer with a device id of 9 and cgminer gs3355 to use the gridseeds with ids of 6, 12, 15? They are all on bus 1. -S doesn't work, it returns that cgminer doesn't know that command same with -G, and if I let the two cgminers decide cgminer gs3355 tries to use the antminer and vice versa.

Could it be due to the miners on the same bus? Can I use the USB hub for all the miners or do I have to separate the miners. Meaning, I have to take off the antminer from the hub and connect it directly to the pI so it's on a different bus so I don't have to select the miners, I can just let cgminer do it.

Thanks. I hope it's clear.
Eddie
