A dutch tech site did a durability test for samsung 840 ssd's:

http://nl.hardware.info/reviews/4177/10/hardwareinfo-test-levensduur-samsung-ssd-840-250gb-tlc-ssd-eind-update-20-6-2013-update-9-eindconclusie-20-6-2013

Use google translate if you want to read it:

with 10GB a day write, it will take 214 years before the first uncorrectable error will occur, if you do 30GB a day it will be 25 years.

Modern SSDs have a very long lifetime, even if they're used a lot.

Hello, I have a simple question that i just can't find the answer for, My question is; I have an SSD drive running W7 and my cgminer is on my usb, thinking if I run it from there does cgminer reads and writes to my windows drive ?  I hate to lose my ssd if cgminer reads and writes 24/7-365 on the ssd.  any help is much appreciated, thanks !
